UPDATED: Watch the NEW Watchmen Trailer TODAY!

I've read the graphic novel, don't want to spoil the movie so i stopped watching the trailer.

can't wait. must see!!!!!!!

i was checking in like every hour i cant wait to see it

let me straight why
i didnt like it because it make it feel like hole story is about Rorschach i didnt feel like i was seeing watchmen
alot of the voices dont fit but it was a good trailer finally showing alot of story to people who dont know it

I loved it ... I am reading it for the 1st time and almost done and I can appreciate the trailers a lot more ... Can't wait for this one.

And that's exactly how I thought Rorschach would sound.

i am more excited about it now than i was 2mins and 30secs ago. great trailer. some reason i would have thought Dr.M's voice would be deeper. I think there will be more people interested in it now that this trailer is out.

now i am off to see it again on the big screen!!

i hated rorscach's voice. sounds like batmans, forced, a little painful and uncomfortable. monatone would have been a better way to go.

ok sooo excited still. rorschach is actually less raspy than i imagined. i'm a little diasappointed because of the crimebusters are now called the watchmen but what ev. and i'm much more enthusiastic about malin akerman. i was worried silk would be horrible. what really should have been done with this movie is they should have kept the 3 hour timeslot and dedicated a full 15 minutes to each of the 12 parts of the novel, translating each part of the story as true as possible. i'm overall satisfied though.

Dammit. It is butchered but I am still really excited to see it. I'll just live in denial after I see it. I'll try my damnedest to remember it with the squid ending and no team called the Watchmen. Also I do agree that Rorschach's voice is a little over the top

I'm I the only one who noticed a giant Thing being TELETRANSPORTATED in the middle of NY at 00:59????

It's the same animation and sound they use when Manhattan teletransports.

dont be so doubtful griffin. i may be wrong but theres too much contradicting info circling the net right now to completely dismiss that the phalymapod might in fact be in the movie. dave gibbons recently revealed the name of the squid in an interview alongside snyder. now it may be that it's the name he and allen came up with while writing the book, but it also may be a name given to the animal if it in fact makes it into the film. he may be trying to hint something at us. the teletransportation calavera666 describes does not fit the descriptions of the alt ending we have learned about (the one with the nuke's). the image of silk and nite with the mushroom cloud in the backround is obviously nite owls dream. in the second trailer, a clip of manhattan and silk teleporting into a nuclear wrecked new york makes me skeptical as to it's realism. the cgi in the scene, particularly on the characters themselves seems unfinished and choppy. almost like it was something snyder threw together to try and throw us off. snyder seems like the type of guy who is intelligent enough to understand that this was gonna hit the net. if he is in fact trying to hide the squids existence in the movie, he no doubt has everything he's been saying in interviews well rehearsed. a careful plan, much along the lines and elaborate structure of ozymandias' conspiracy, could easily hide the squids existence until the inevitable release of the film. perhaps snyder considers himself an ozymandias of the modern age? we wait till march 6th then BAM!!! we are hit with the knowledge that the squid is real. I call it... "The Watchmen Conspiracy" read my other posts in recent watchmen news bullitens on this site.

also, jon's voice is clearly not normal thoughout the whole movie. when he shouts "leave me alone" his voice has been distorted with an effect that sounds similar to the sound effects used when he teleports.

The trailer does look pretty cool...but it's more evident that Snyder has broken his word and this will be more "hollywood" than "true to the comic" and that kills me. I'll end up seeing it, but I have a feeling I'll walk away very angry. The ending is just inexcusable and they call themselves the Watchmen? That NEVER happened! The Ror./Dr. Manh. voices aren't what I thought they would be. And Ozy's actor is British so I don't think it's a German accent. I do think he's too young looking. And to everyone telling those that are nit-picking this trailer to chill out...we've got every reason to fret. Snyder has seem to done exactly what he said he wouldn't do. And that was to not change the story.

keep watching the trailer, it really grows on you. it got to a point where i was like "wow, Manhattan's voice is actually perfect"

Im so happy.. this isn't going to sux and i like the custume designs and of course he has a german accent his parents immagrated here amd they joke around and call him a nazi.

when the hell were they ever called "Watchmen"??? who calls them Watchmen??? "Watchmen are over", what a load of crap. This is the exact reason why Alan Moore hates these hollywood adaptations. But other than that, everything seems to be okay.
just hope they change that one thing. And the ozymandias actor doesnt seem fit for the mighty Veidt. BOO. But i still hope it kicks ass.
