At a recent preview screening of Watchmen at Warner Bros studio, lucky participants were shown a total of 30 minutes of the film. At that time, Snyder assured fans of the classic graphic novel that the material would be respected and not exploited.

"No chance of a sequel or prequel or Watchmen babies or anything like that" according to Snyder.

He also updated the running time, which will be 2 hours and 45 minutes, but mentioned that there would be further editing and that was just an approximation.

Quagmire has some valid points. However...

300 was a spectacular film and the trailer for Watchmen that I saw at SDCC blew my mind! Hearing Zack talk about the project, I think he has every intention of paying tribute to the graphic novel. If it looks "glitzed up" that's because it's Hollywood! Get over it!
