Crappybumbum is right we need a lot more footage before we can judge it. There isnt enough to judge. Is impossible to judge it. more and more and more.

Does Look pretty crappy. I wish these game producers would employ creative people and at least try and deliver a game that would appeal to the fanboys

Like oh my gosh totally radical... Weeeeee!!! Like seriously guys the watchmen are like totally the awesomist superhero group ever. They should like totally make a sequel to this game. They can have Rorschach go to mars and him and nightowl can like fight martians with the crazy wicked owlship. It would be like soo totally...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a travesty. A mockery of everything was good about the novel.

sorry had to break my silence

didn't Alan Moore warn us, ironically enough in the graphic novel?

Thanks Ror, will that be all episodic downloads? or just the first? will it include the mobile game? the furbie based bubastis? all 6 Doc Manhattan figures (full costume Doc, tuxedo Doc, bathing suit Doc, nude Doc, bathing suit and shirt Doc, multiple Docs)Original Nite Owl, Movie Nite Owl, Original Silk Spectre, Movie Silk Spectre, Original Ozymandias, Movie Ozymandias, the Rorscharch Tamagotchi(they are really milking this like no other thing I have seen).

I mean this is really getting ridiculuos, it's much worse than Pokemon and their gotta catch (buy) them all.

you know what? i wouldnt give a shit if they had a watchmen merchandise parade right down my street with half price silk spectre didos and a big Dr M cake with choclate rorschachs in it..followed by the watchmen dancers all busting moves to the hit single "i wanna be a watchman"

you know why? because that graphic novel will still be on my shelf, exactly the same, untouched in any way, and ill still love it

i lmao at your last post tho noob!

I really hope studio execs are not reading this, otherwise we'll probably see all of the previously mentioned merchandise.

And yeah the new summer hit song will deffinately be: I wanna be a Watchman.

if they do make a game its gonna be an hour long ecause there is absolutely no action in Watchmen. thats not what it is about. this is a story driven plotline, with clever writing and unforgetable characters and i am getting more sick by the minute with all this promotion crap.leave it be

I'm amazed at how much they've made Nite Owl look like batman. The difference is indistinguishable in this trailer
sithenor
sithenor - 12/17/2008, 5:52 AM
Producers say that there's gonna be only Nite Owl and ROR in the game because the whole story with all characters is very deep and intense, so is not suitable for gaming.

Then don't do it!!! DUH

I think this will be a prequel, describing the intial relationship between the two characters.

That being said, it should be shit. Since it will just be a standard button masher-brawler.
Coats
Coats - 12/17/2008, 11:20 AM
What they should have done (if they really had to make a ****ing video game out of this...which you know they did (sighs)) Is get Bethesda to spend 4 years developing an elder scrolls styled prequel game where your character (pick any from the team!) has to navigate the entire U.S. in search of clues that will save the world from the communists. There would be flashbacks, where you would play the golden aged incarnation of your character unraveling clues themselves....just saying...if you're going to spoil a piece of literature with capitalist overkill, do it right, ya know?

Alan Moore probably just pooped himself out of anger.
redd3415
redd3415 - 12/18/2008, 9:44 AM
Mixed emotions on this one. On one hand, they've already spoiled it all by making the movie in the first place, so what's it matter if the marketing machine barfs up a game to go with it? On the other... a Watchmen game? A WATCHMEN GAME?? It just may be a sign of the apocalypse.

If they are gonna make a game, make Tales of The Black Freighter into one. Make it a horror game, give it an "M" rating and watch the Bible-belt moms go nutz.

I always hoped that by any chance Alan Moore would make aside his hatred for corporations making films based on his work and enjoy the Watchmen movie.

That hope has been shattered by this first example of movie merchandise. Still the game looks decent
