Brand New AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Poster Reveals An Inhuman Transformation

Last year, Marvel released a set of unique posters for the second half of Agents of SHIELD's first season and now they're doing it again. Come check out a brand new piece, done by Daisy Johnson co-creator Gabriele Dell’Otto, which features our first look at what Raina has become!

After discovering an alien city with ties to his resurrection, Coulson and his team destroyed it before the forces of Hydra could claim its secrets, eliminating the villainous Whitehall (Reed Diamond) in the process. But new threats to the world have arisen, including Skye's father, Cal (Kyle McLachlan), who now seeks retribution against Coulson for stealing his revenge against Whitehall; a disturbing alliance between former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Ward (Brett Dalton) and Agent 33; the enigmatic Raina (Ruth Negga), who struggles with her transformation into something inhuman by the alien Obelisk and seeks vengeance; and Skye (Chloe Bennet), who developed mysterious new powers from the Obelisk but whose lack of experience with her new abilities may threaten the safety of those she loves.

Meanwhile, Bobbi (Adrianne Palicki) and Mack (Henry Simmons) begin the next phase of a plan which seems to have grave repercussions for Coulson and his team, who are unaware that there's another mysterious force moving against them. And as Hunter (Nick Blood) is forced to make the biggest choice of his life, Coulson will find his mission threatened by this shocking endgame.

In the midseason premiere, "Aftershocks," Coulson's team must deal with the consequences of their war with Hydra as shocking revelations threaten to tear them apart, and Hydra makes a dangerous move that may involve a traitor in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s midst.

After helping to thwart Hydra, Agent Phil Coulson was appointed as Director and tasked with rebuilding the agency. Agent Melinda May, expert pilot, martial artist and longtime friend, will continue to look after Coulson in the wake of the mysterious etchings he's been carving into walls. Grant Ward, highly trained in combat and espionage, was found to be a Hydra mole and a traitor to S.H.I.E.L.D. and locked up away from the world and his former teammates. But this isn't the last we've seen of him... After being left to die in the middle of the ocean by Ward, Agent Leo Fitz, brilliant engineer, and Agent Jemma Simmons, genius bio-chemist, found a way to escape their watery grave. But all did not go well for Fitz, who was left in a coma and may never regain his full cognitive functions; a devastating blow to Simmons. And computer hacker Skye, now a full-fledged S.H.I.E.L.D. agent, discovered her origins as a 0-8-4 — an object of unknown origin — and that her parents were considered "monsters." Could Skye have darkness lying dormant inside of her? Also joining Coulson's core team is Lance Hunter, a dashing mercenary sharp shooter with a quick wit. Since he didn't rise up through the ranks, does he have an ulterior motive for helping out the team.

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. features:
Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson
Ming-Na Wen as Melinda May
Brett Dalton as Grant Ward
Chloe Bennet as Skye
Iain De Caestecker as Leopold "Leo" Fitz
Elizabeth Henstridge as Jemma Simmons
Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill
Nick Blood as Lance Hunter
Adrianne Palicki as Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird
Henry Simmons as Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie

@TheYeezus
No kidding. All those people having high blood pressure over the hate FF is rightly receiving are going to shape several threads today.

Big fan of Dell'Otto and this poster looks amazing. I'd really like to know, sooner or later (most likely sooner), who Raina is if she's not her comic book counterpart.

Why can't they make posters like these for Age of Ultron and the other Marvel movies instead of the photoshopped garbage we usually get.

Woah, what the [frick] is that? Creepy, can't wait to see her in action...speaking of action, Quake is giving the big-O-back thrust, I likey...

I'm hoping that Raina's transformation makes her less annoying. I've hated her ever since her first appearance. And she was the one dark spot on what was a pretty good second season.

Nice. Wonder if Raina becomes her CB counterpart or not

I see: "Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill". Is she expected to appear in the second half of the show??? I really hope so :D
Anyone knows if she had her baby yet? I ask this because I wonder if she will be able to make it for Civil War, Maria Hill is a must in that movie.

Cool poster btw!

Wow wow wow wow...

Batz raises a solid point. If Skye...sorry, "Daisy", has sexual intercourse with a male she is attracted to, and eventually achieves orgasm....

Wouldn't she probably kill the guy?

Who says you need to be attracted to somebody to have an orgasm?

LOL at people claiming a film not yet released deserves hate. Bigger LOL's at them using their own opinion as fact while hypocritically calling out others for the same.

This show continues to impress. But who cares cause Marvel Studios Vs Everything else right?
And they're winning. I think that's how you say it.

@ckal

I don't think anything can go wrong when you have Dell'Otto and DjurdjevicM/b>, they both put in a lot of work in their art.

Really though, if she already couldn't rock a dude's world, could you imagine if she started "Quakin"?

Raina went from hot to a serious paper bag special.

Careful what you wish for next time Raina.

Pretty sure I've given a couple orgasms to women that hate me. Alcohol, weed and bad judgement can make for a damn fine evening. Kinda like Gusto and his chloroform.

And that poster is phenomenal. Skye looks sexy as [frick], and Raina looks really [frick]ing creepy.

Poor Raina though...She wanted so bad to activate her powers...lol

Agents of SHIELD:

"Because we haven't given you enough of Skye crammed down your eye sockets as it is, we're going to have two of her in the same [frick]ing Marvel poster and ignore all the other important changes made in the show recently, because we all love Skye don't we?"

Me:

"Marvel, [frick] off with Skye. Stop forcing her down our necks and having her simplifying everything in a patronising way whenever an important story change occurs. Fix the bitch and stop forcing her down on us, the show is [frick]ed because of her.
Peel
Peel - 2/26/2015, 8:55 AM
Seriously, this show could become SO good if they had just [frick]ing killed Skye off at the end of season one/season 2 midfinale, imagine the ramifications it would've had on every single character in the show. Shame.

Hope her transformation doesn't prevent them from using her fully. I'd hate for makeup or CGI to limit her use here. Hopefully they have a fun reveal in store for us patient viewers. She's been teasing for a while now.

Now that Skye has the potential to kill a high qualified mutant like Wolverine, Ward better watch out ans stay awy from her.

The woman could cause aneurism and explode his heart from the inside out once she will be able to effectively control her powers and use it as one of the most devastated leathal weapon.
