Jaimie Alexander Talks AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D., THOR: THE DARK WORLD Ending, And More

Jaimie Alexander (who will be appearing on tomorrow’s episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) talks what it felt like to return to the series, the ending of Thor: The Dark World, and how her fight scenes worked out! Hit the jump to check it out!

Jaimie Alexander sat down with IGN and started off by talking about how it feels for her to return to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. without parts of her memory. " It was very comical actually. Definitely comical in the beginning. You know, I was just so happy to come back. I always enjoy playing Sif but I also love working with everyone over at Agents of SHIELD, cast and crew." Besides the comical part, she explains the downside of her sudden memory loss, “There are also some sadder moments later on when she doesn't remember some things that Coulson was hoping she'd remember.”

Even though part of Sif's memory will be loss, it doesn't stop her from engaging in battle! Jaimie Alexander explains that her fights in this episode worked out really well, hence the fact that she only had a week to prepare. "The fights that I do have in the episode I learned in one day and we sort of just improv'd and did it. It worked out well," She then continues, "But the story's more about her trying to figure out who she really is and what's going on with this mysterious foe that she's had this battle with who gave her amnesia."

Besides her appearance on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Jaimie reveals that this episode does not address the Thor: The Dark World ending (Loki on the throne). Even though it doesn't, Jaimie reveals some intriguing thoughts about where things were left off in Asgard, "With regards to the end of Thor 2 and how things left off in Asgard. And what's going on there. Is Loki really Odin or is Odin now Loki, or was it all an illusion?" An illusion? Does she know something we do not? Nope. Shortly after those thoughts she reveals she knows nothing about how that ending will shape the rest of the MCU.

Anyhow, she does address Thor 3: Ragnarok and says that, "We only know a little about who she really is and what she's capable of. And so any chance to explore her further, I jump at it." She then adds that playing her role as Lady Sif is "such a good time." Lady Sif will appear on tomorrow's episode of Agent of Shield titled, "Who you really are." Are you going to tune in? Sound off below with your thoughts!

I hope they explore more of Sif in Ragnarok. I'd love to see her tag team with Thor in battle

I think they'll probably push Daisy/Skye/Quake's arc along so they can utilize her powers on a larger scale in the season finale. With Cal apparently putting together a group of super-villains and Raina with Reader (or whoever he is), it wouldn't be too surprising to see that happen.

Lots of 'fronts' on this show: Bobbi and Mack, Ward and Agent 33, Hydra, Cal and the group he pulls together, Raina and Reader, Talbot, and the upcoming villainous presence of at least one more character we haven't even met yet. I love how there's a lot going on, and yet it doesn't feel overwhelming while watching the show.

With Jane hopefully gone in the third movie, I hope they put SIF in front and center alongside thor. She deserves it as do the Warriors three.

I really can't wait to see Ward again. He's my favourite character on AoS. His arc has had the most suspense, best twists, and he's an extremely gifted actor. Hurry up!

Dear Marvel,

Please kill Jane Foster and Eric Selvig off, they are poor supporting characters. Also, give us a sex scene between Thor and Darcy before killing her off too.

Make Sif and Thor a couple and have them constantly fight people in Ragnarok. Focus on them and Asgardians, not puny humans.

Sincerely,

Every Thor fan on the planet.

Sif's cool and all. Really hoping they introduce Valkyrie in Ragnarok. Then she could join up with Dr. Strange, Hulk, Iron Fist, Namor, and hopefully Silver Surfer one day for a Defenders movie. Defending the Earth from Galactus while the Avengers are all in space fighting the Infinity War. Haha, Marvel should totally trade X-Men tv rights for Silver Surfer and Galactus and make that happen.

Namor would probably work best in a team up anyways. At least for his introduction. i've been wondering if they were gonna do anything with White Tiger too. Seems like they've been building her up lately with Ultimate Spider-Man and everything
