HAWKEYE Star Jeremy Renner Shares Logo Reveal Animation For Upcoming Disney+ Series Featuring Kate Bishop

Jeremy Renner, who will star in the upcoming Hawkeye series for Disney+, shared a brief video of the show's logo reveal live from the floor of Hall H during the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

Hawkeye was one of many announcements made during the Marvel Studios panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday and while the logo was shared online from the official Marvel Studios social media channel, it was star Jeremy Renner who shared with fans the actual reveal animtation.

The animation opens with a series of targets and arrows before a silhouette of Renner's Clint Barton (Hawkeye/Ronin) appears. He then flies off screen and a silhouette of his soon-to-be protegee, Kate Bishop, appears, much to the fans' delight. Then the logo appears.
With so many announcements to be made, Kevin Feige nor Jeremy Renner spent just a quick few minutes talking about the upcoming Disney+ series. While plot details weren't shared, Renner did share excitement for exploring a new side of Clint Barton.

"What I get to do in the show ultimately is shepherd an amazing character, ultimately a better version of me and the sentiment of that is the fiber of what Hawkeye is, at least what I think Hawkeye is — a superhero without superpowers and I get to teach someone else to be a superhero without super powers.”

That better version of himself, of course, will be none other than Kate Bishop, a fan-favorite who figures to become a prominent character in the MCU. Marvel has not yet announced who will be playing Kate Bishop in the series.

Hawkeye is set to premiere exclusively on Disney+ in fall 2021.

This looks like it could be the intro to the show. Will the show itself be live action or animated though? I haven’t read anything decisive yet

@Roodi - Avi Arad must be crying right now. I could imagine the conversation in the board room.

Avi: "When can I have Spiderman back?"

Exec: "If FFH doesn't make $1 billion."

Avi: "So this year than. Thank you!"

Roodi: "FFH is $30M from crossing $1B!"

Avi: "Oh come on!"

Renner has been a bit of a hidden treasure in the Avengers movies, so combine that with even a little of Fraction's runs and you've got yourself a winner.

Has no year/dates been confirmed for Black Panther 2, Capt marvel 2, spider man 3, and Guardians 3?

@manofillintent1 - No, but those are going to be Phase Five films so it's a little early for dates yet.

Quite excited for this, but there are risks going with this. The Fraction/Aja run is among the few somewhat more recent things from the Big 2 I've read, and man, that is a pretty high bar.

Of course the show'll be its own thing and that's good, but the comic was so distinct (and awesome) in it visual style and tone that I just end up having the hope/expectation that the show will be as distinct in its own medium. And I'm not sure it will/can be.
