LOKI Season 2 May Have Already Been Confirmed By Marvel Studios And Disney+

It's looking like Loki has already received a coveted second season, as recent comments from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Clark Gregg indicate that the series could be around for the long haul!

Has Loki been renewed for a second season? It's looking like that could be the case, because Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. star Clark Gregg has revealed how many episodes Tom Hiddleston has signed up for.

That came while he was promoting the ABC series's final season, and seeing as there have already been rumors about another batch of episodes of the God of Mischief's Disney+ TV series, it wouldn't be all that surprising for Loki's misadventures to continue in a second season on the steaming platform.

"I'd be lying if I didn't say boy, that would really be interesting to start the experiment over," Gregg said. "Doing 10 episodes or 12 episodes the way Tom Hiddleston told me he was doing [on Loki] with that kind of budget and that Marvel Cinematic production team."

When Loki was announced at last year's San Diego Comic-Con, it was confirmed that the series will consist of 6 episodes. If Tom Hiddleston has told his The Avengers co-star that he's tied into filming 12 episodes, then it seems likely Marvel Studios could be shooting two seasons back to back. However, as production was halted due to the global pandemic, we cannot say for sure.

This news could, however, debunk claims the MCU is permanently getting a female Loki.
