Yesterday evening, Marvel Studios surprised us all by releasing the teaser trailer for She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. While rumours have swirled about the Disney+ series in recent months, this first proper look at the show has been welcomed by fans and came packed full of exciting new story reveals.

The sensational superhero's Marvel Cinematic Universe debut is a big deal, and with Jennifer Walters set to practice superhuman law, we're about to explore a whole new side to this world.

Having combed through the footage, we've uncovered a heap of intriguing teases and Easter Eggs that better explain where Marvel Studios plans to take She-Hulk. From surprising cameos to unexpected locations and even major status quo shifts for fan-favourite characters, this nine-episode series looks set to be an important and potentially game-changing new chapter in the MCU mythos.

8. The Wrecking Crew?

SH1

The Wrecking Crew is a team of four supervillains - the Wrecker, Bulldozer, Piledriver and Thunderball - who were granted incredible powers in the comics by the Asgardian Norn Queen, Karnilla. Typically portrayed as cannon fodder for the Marvel Universe's superheroes, they usually break out of prison, get their asses kicked, and then wind up behind bars all over again. Could this lot be them?

If so, the group (other members include Excavator and Bulldozer II, possibly explaining why there are five of them here) doesn't appear to have gained their abilities quite yet. During their first appearance, they were tasked with stealing a gamma bomb, so perhaps they'll gain powers - and costumes - throughout the course of She-Hulk? We think their weapons are a big giveaway, but time will tell.

7. The Cube

SH8

There are some armoured soldiers shown near the start of this trailer who we have to assume are probably with Damage Control. It's hard to say for sure, of course, and S.W.O.R.D. is certainly another possibility. Either way, it appears the MCU has a brand new supervillain prison, and it makes perfect sense for Jennifer Walters to be spending time there now she's specialising in superhuman law.

We can't say for certain which holding facility this is, but given its desert setting, we're going to place a bet on it being a reimagined version of The Cube. In the comic books. that was a prison for alien criminals who committed crimes on Earth, but it being repurposed here isn't outside the realm of possibility. Marvel Studios has killed many of its villains, but fingers crossed we see some familiar faces.

6. Abomination Returns

SH7

One of those familiar faces has been confirmed as Tim Roth's Emil Blonsky, a.k.a. The Incredible Hulk's villainous Abomination. This is indeed the same holding cell we caught a glimpse of in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, and we'd bet on Wong being part of the effort to rehabilitate Emil throughout this series. Either way, he's clearly gained the ability to switch back and forth at will.

Could that lead to him becoming an Avenger? Don't bank on it. After spending all this time behind bars, we wouldn't be remotely surprised if the unhinged "super-soldier" is really on a secret quest for revenge here. Hopefully, that will bring him back into contact with The Hulk as their battle raged across New York City and very nearly resulted in the Green Goliath being defeated by a stronger foe.

5. Jennifer Walters vs. She-Hulk

SH5

While it's only hinted at in this trailer, it does look like She-Hulk is going to explore how Jennifer Walters deals with being a regular person and a sensational superhero. In the comic books, she's often struggled to balance her two very different sides and has viewed being She-Hulk as an escape from the often-overlooked "normal" Jennifer. Delving into that dichotomy here promises to be fascinating.

Less clear is what we're going to see from The Hulk. While the Green Goliath will clearly be helping to train his cousin (presumably after inadvertently gifting her with his powers), his role beyond that is a mystery. What is interesting is the fact that his arm appears to have completely healed following the events of Avengers: Endgame. We expected the Infinity Gauntlet to leave a lasting impact, but perhaps not.

4. Frog Man

SH3

Frog-Man is better known as Eugene Patilio, the son of the former super-villain Leap-Frog, who hoped to do good and become a hero. He clumsily tried to battle crime to redeem his father's name and is often a source of comedy in the comic books. After all, his only actual "power" is the ability to leap great distances thanks to electrical coils in his boots, so he's not exactly Avengers material.

We're definitely intrigued to see what he brings to the table in She-Hulk, though, and Marvel Studios has done a pretty fantastic job translating his costume to live-action. It would make sense for Jennifer to have to help Eugene if his misguided attempts to be a superhero get him in trouble with the law, but your guess is as good as ours when it comes to who is playing this character in the series.

3. Titania

SH2

On the plus side, we do know who will play the villainous Titania. That's Jameela Jamil, and as she looks to make her mark in Hollywood, we have to believe Marvel Studios saw something special in the British presenter to cast her. Like her comic book counterpart, it seems this Titania is extremely strong, and we see her full on attack She-Hulk in the courtroom here for what looks like an epic brawl.

That costume nicely pays homage to the source material, though we don't think The Beyonder is responsible for granting this longtime She-Hulk rival her powers in the MCU. If our theory about The Wrecking Crew getting an upgrade courtesy of the same Gamma Rays that created The Hulk pans out, then perhaps this world is about to see a sudden influx of superpowered B-List baddies? It's about time!

2. She-Hulk's Love Life

SH6

She-Hulk is a woman who has never been afraid to take charge in relationships, and over the years, we've seen her romance heroes like Thor and Hercules, and even the villainous Juggernaut. Clearly, she's on a quest for love in this series, too, though it looks like she's also up for having fun. This is apparent from what appears to be a series of Tinder dates the hero goes on during this show.

One of those dates is former WWE Superstar David Otunga (he's since transitioned to acting), though there doesn't appear to be anyone here who comic book fans will know. There have been rumours that Jennifer will cross paths with another famous lawyer, Matt Murdock, at some point in She-Hulk, so perhaps the hero will eventually find love with a fellow superhero? That would be pretty cool...

1. Unfinished VFX

SH4

It's hard not to watch the She-Hulk trailer and think that Marvel Studios still has a lot of work to do before the show's August premiere. It's not that the hero looks downright awful by any means, but whereas Mark Ruffalo's Jade Giant appears exactly as he did on the big screen, there are moments where the "uncanny valley" effect of something not looking quite right is hard to ignore with She-Hulk.

This was an issue in Eternals as well with Pip the Troll. There's a reason that CG character was compared to those in The Polar Express, and we really hope that isn't the case throughout this series with Jennifer Walter's powerful alter-ego. In all likelihood, The Hulk is probably easier to animate as there's a decade worth of reference material, so fingers crossed She-Hulk's creases are ironed out.

So because one show, and one movie is bad, that equates me to hating the whole company.

OK... No. Like who sent that out to the public and thought that was OK? They should've just painted her face green, then did CGI on her body. Her face stays the same structure when she hulks out, unlike Banner's.

@ElricReturns - Ouch. I don't understand. Wandavision, F&WS and Loki looked great. Especially Loki.

Did they just run out of TV budget, or they just rushing stuff now because there's so many shows on the production line? Lol

@KWilly -

Goofy awkward as shit cgi and about a million jump cuts. Look how erratic and almost impossible to follow this editing is. Almost had a stroke trying to follow those quick cuts in the first minute of the video. Worse than the Taken movies. And Moon Knight looks like Gumby... hella rubbery.

For those saying She Hulks cgi isn't finished yet and will get better...... I hope you are right but I have serious doubts about that.

@DoubleD - look DD can I be honest? I’ve liked parts of the shows but not the majority of enough since WV, mostly loved it, great show. I get excited for one, then it comes out, and I’m underwhelmed. And, addressing D+, then you release this trailer while I’m still processing that I only liked about half of Moon Knight?!?!

What can I say the trailers ALWAYS amp me up, and this looks fun!
