Incredibly unnecessary movie. It should stay in the game world.

The first one isn't bad, but it isn't good. The second one is terrible! I wouldn't mind seeing a Megaman movie, but as all of the other videogame based movies have gone, I'd rather not see one. There hasn't been a good videogame based movie yet. Mortal Kombat was good when it came out, but it's aged terribly.

haha... there's no way either of those are real though. i hope... please tell me it was just some college kids making trailers for a film class.

First one has "non-profit" written down there
the second is a joke

this is not official, of course

If they made it like the Astro Boy movie coming soon, then it would rock!!! A live action would be horrid though. These were some of my favorite games as a kid. Mega Man X is the SHIZNITZ!!!

WHY?! I remember playing Mega Man in 1987 on Nintendo. Did they even continue to make those games? I vaguely remember some lame ass cartoon,I think. This is gonna go over like a fart in church.

Yeah, animated could be decent though.

Good call Myth. I wouldn't mind seeing an all CG kick ass Megaman movie. It has to kick ass though, or there's no point in it existing. Dreamworks might be able to do it. Shrek isn't bad animation, and Kung Fu Panda was fantastic.

so here is my casting for it. As long as they don't have that aweful voice from the cartoon captain N. If your don't know it look it up on youtube. If you are a gamer it is the worst thing you will ever see.

Dr. Light= Danny DaVito
Dr. Wylie= Gary Busy
MegaMan= Chris Marquette or Shawn Ennis
Roll= amanda seyfried

Nerosday, actually Mega Man was a pretty successful franchise. I know NES got up to MM7, then SNES started Mega Man X, and had 3 installments. PS1 continued with a few more installments in the base series. Then there were the RPG games. With the exception of the Next Gen platforms, most every system, including handhelds, had some form of MM game on them. Personally, to this day the MMX games are some of the funnest games out there, I have them on emulation on my PC and play them once in a while.

@ nerosday

they've made like 20 of those games, no exageration. the first 8 were on original NES. then super nintendo came out and they started making mega man X. they made like 4 or 5 of those if i'm not mistaken. then they made some sillier ones on the later systems where mega man was in the internet or some shit. and then they just released mega man 9 last year on xbox live, but its just like the originals, graphics and all. so they've probably made more than 20 actually.

ah, Mega Man, the game that got my NES taking away from me so many times...

I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss the idea of it all. A CGI Mega Man could be entertaining. Maybe in 3D.

i wouldnt mind seeing a megaman movie but it would have to be somewhat if not completely different from the videogame plot cause i dont think that would translate well to screen but then again i would have said the same thing about iron man but look at that franchise

lol... would you all shoot me if I said I wasn't a gamer? Lol, thanks for the info. I'll store it in the old mental rolodex.... there it goes. Got it right it right behind the "What happened to all the Harry Potter characters after Deathly Hallows." Yeah, I know my filing system's all [frick]ed up. Ooo, the "Natasha Henstridge nude pics circa 1995," pile. AWESOME. Amazing what you find in the old mental rolodex when you flip through it.

This is a feature length movie but it's not official. It's a fan film. I remember hearing about it a year or so ago.

It's just some people getting together and having fun.

I think they even got permission from Capcom to do it.

A CGI Mega Man movie could be pretty cool, but yeah, a real life Mega Man movie will probably BLOW.

...kind of like the way Dragon Ball Z the movie did.

it does feel a little sloppy...but it is fan made. i'm mixed; i'm kinda happy someone is finally getting a movie done...but i think it requires a larger budget. maybe it'll be good enough for hollywood execs to finance a real one.

I'm a big fan of the original NES game and I liked Mega Man Legends RPG for PSOne. If they did it like Legends and made it a kick ass adventure story it could be good.

A live action Mega Man movie could work if it was made like Casshern, that movie reminded me so much of Mega Man. Mega Man is my favorite video game series of all time I grew up playing it on the NES, the first NES game I ever played was Mega Man 2.

But yeah I doubt that we will ever see a Mega Man movie, just like we will never see any of the other greats like Zelda or Metriod.

Osiris, lol you and I must be the same age, cause that was the first Mega Man game I played too, but my dad had an Atari so it wasn't the first game I ever played. Something like Pong, Asteroids, or Pitfall, or whatever would have been it, loooooong ago.
