Which Villains Will Be In 'Batman: Arkham Asylum 2'?

Will we have repeat performances or brand new evil faces in the second installment of the hit video game 'Batman: Arkham Asylum 2'?

This game was by far the best of the year. Finally a Batman game that actually made you feel like you were in the cowl your self. I beat the game but have not gotten to the 100% mark...yet. After I beat the game I got to wondering what villains could possibly show up in part 2? MTV recently put together this list:

"Two Face
Pictured above, the face part may be ripped off, but it's pretty blatant which Batman foe is doing his best Uncle Sam impersonation.

Black Mask (AKA Roman Sionis)
Batman's go-to gangster villain was one of the clues in the first game (his mask was hiding in the doctor's office), but the giant Sionis sign seen in the trailer seems to imply that he'll play a much bigger role this time around.

Penguin
The Iceberg Lounge, the Penguin's Antarctic-themed restuarant, is seen as the trailer zooms through the streets of Gotham. Expect Chester Cobblepot to make a healthy showing.

The Joker & Harley Quinn
Although he's been clearly weakened by his brush with the super ooze in the first game, The Joker remains the one pulling the strings in the sequel, helped along by his trusty sidekick, Harley Quinn.

Killer Croc, Scarecrow or Bane?
The end of "Arkham Asylum" featured a teaser showing one of these three baddies reaching out of the murky depths to grab on to a box of the super Titan juice. The ending changed depending on your performance, but Rocksteady definitely left things open for any or all of these fine fellows to return."

Do you agree with this list or should they bring a few more villains in for Batman's second outing?

is it just me, or did the joker resemble more of the one from TDK? his face looked like he had makeup on instead of white skin. i guess its cuz of the cracks and stuff in his skin but it looked a lot more like Heath's

Bring on the Riddler, Two-Face, Clayface and a real Killer-Croc boss fight! :)

Edit: OH, and Mr. Freeze! :)

Mr Freeze, Solomon Grundy and the Mad Hatter would be great choices for the sequel.

Just got finished with the 1st one and wow, what a game. I'd like to see Calendar Man or the The Injustice Gang.

I also think they have set up the Creeper nicely with the Joker boss fight...with special guest appearance by Superman to help battle Lex Luther in the Injustice Gang.

I hope they use the Riddler in an actual, concrete role.

Out of the 3 villains they used for the secret endings, they should use Scarecrow, by far. Croc and Bane are already monsters, it's a little redundant to me to make them....bigger monsters.

But Scarecrow, hopped up on the Titan serum? That opens up a huge opportunity to create bigger, creepier nightmares inflicted by his toxin.

yes.. a clayface battle would be amazing. Especially the physics and CG involved with a character like clay face would be pretty stunning and awesome! It would take a lot of create a character like Clay face. He wouldn't be the same as the other character with modeling and a normal human rig. His rig would have multiple manipulation possibilities and on top of that the physics of the clay drooping constantly would be pretty amazing!

thank you @WarNoodle Clayface would make such an epic and fun battle i think, plus riddler should be the main head leading villian for this, him and two-face and then mr. freeze can be a boss as well. I think its stupid how they're bringing the joker back AGAIN! He got his game its someone else turn. Plus i was wondering, this is call ARKHAM ASYLUM 2 but its in the city, how is that gonna work?
Any thoughts?

I think Batman should fight his greatest enemy ever; the constant whisperings of people wondering what is going on with him and a pre-teen livn`in a cave.

I like a lot of your ideas, but yes, I think Clayface is a must also. He had an awesome cameo in the first one...he's just gotta be in this one.

@SHHH - I agree with your suggestion too! I knwo there were no hints to Man-Bat being in one of the games, but I think a fight in midair would be pretty sweet!

Well i don't know about you guys but i'd love to see Prometheus in this game, who better to mess with batman than his opposite. Man-bat needs to be in it and get Hush in there too. I know there not villains but nightwing or some other allies should be in it maybe for some co-op?

I'm pretty positive Two-Face, Black Mask and Penguin will appear. Catwoman, Riddler and Mr Freeze also might show seeing as they are the other more famous villains. Clayface or Man-Bat would be interesting, Clayface WAS in Batman: AA, remember in the cell he kept shjape-shifting??? Maybe Hush as well since not only was he a file to be opened in AA but they even mentioned him in the story when Batman says the ambush isn't for him and the Joker admits he's right..it's most likley for Hush.

Update on TheMYTH from his friend Chris AKA Humbled:

“Apparently they have found a slow working balance between the 2 and now all 3 major tumors are about 20% smaller than they were when he came in…. On top of that, he was able to have a few hours of real consciousness yesterday morning. He spent it with his new son who he'd not met until then. I sat in the corner of the room the whole time just watching the most resilient person to ever face their own mortality. Even though any who could see him could tell he was in considerable pain, his humor and wit were still intact. Doctors say if no more complications come along, he might be able to be home about Christmas time and continue his treatment through outpatient. Apparently this type of cancer is typically treated this way…. When this first started a little over a month ago he had less than 2% survival chance, now it's a 1-in-4. I'm sure Myth would have something to say about the power of the collective consciousness of humanity after reading this article and being able to see just how many people are rooting for him.”

He includes a poem from theMyth’s own writings.

He also mentions The Myth’s stories and fan fics and Myth’s family:

” I told Amanda (MYTH’s wife) about this article and she viewed it. She said she was at a loss for words and couldn't see to type a comment. She said that this was something phenomenal and it would leave even 'Myth' at a loss for words. I'm sure she'll be back soon to give thanks. “

Keep posting guys for MYTH and his family, they need all the strength and encouragement and well wishes and love they can get now. The MYTH is still alive and fighting, so cheer the man on!

Quite honestly, I'll be happy with whatever villains they include in the sequel because the first game was one of the best that came out this year!!

It'll be great to include some new villains like Two-Face but even better if Hammill returns as The Joker!

nerosday: Thanks for the info. I hope he can spend Christmas at home with his son.

Don't forget that they had Mr. Freeze locked up in the first Arkham Asylum game... I wouldn't be surprised if he made an appearance, especially seing as how the only thing you could do was look at his frozen holding cell...

I think it should be Bane, Killer Croc, Scarecrow, Poison Ivy and The Joker. With the Riddler heckling you in your ear the whole time. That would make an awesome game.

I'd like my XBox back so I can play it again. I got three quarter red lights and sent it in for repair.
As far as villians go, I think all suggested would be great. I didn't ever get to see Riddler, though he was teased throughout.
