Following the universal success of X-Men: Days Of Future Past, it should come as no surprise that Fox are pushing out a ton of X-related films in the coming years. Of course, starting with next summer's Apocalypse. Director Bryan Singer has been a busy man recently, but he will never cease to give the fans a glimpse of the future. Today, the man behind the best X-Men films Instagram'd a photo of 'Cerebro' from the upcoming sequel. This marks the fourth time the mutant-finding machine has been on screen, of course starting with 2000's X-Men

Even though it's just a dome, it's one of my favourite practical sets.

I've never been so excited to see a film of the X-men, this movie is going to be epic! all that has been shown so far looks great.

When I was a lot younger, I thought the Cerebro we saw in the first movie was all one set, so I thought it would be scary if someone fell off the catwalk.

I have no inside source, but I assume they would be: Wolverine, Mystique, Gambit and Nightcrawler.

That would be an awesome scene....

But, I wonder how Wolverine gets the Adamantium now, because technically Mystique was Stryker at the end of DOFP.... Which was so stupid, imo, because that would mean either Mystique brutally tortured Wolverine as Stryker in the Weapon X program just because, or Wolverine still has the bone claws?

Or maybe Magneto gives Wolverine the adamantium?

One of the major parts of the ending that I didn't like....

I guarantee it'll be more successful than Suicide Squad.

At least with X-Men Apocalypse we'll have a really good X-Men Trilogy consisting of either:

1) X-Men First Class
2) Days of Future Past
3) Apocalypse

OR

1) X-Men 2
2) Days of Future Past
3) Apocalypse

Depending on your preferences.

X-Men 3 is too bad to watch. Wolverine Origins is also terrible. The Wolverine is okay, but is now meaningless. First Class is okay, but some of the actors, especially the size mutants and villains, are terrible. The first X-Men holds up, but its effects and action scenes are poorly done. Singer hadn't honed his craft yet.

@DrKinsolving Apocalypse could give Wolverine his adamantium if he becomes a horseman in the 80s - in the comics, Apocalypse gave Archangel metal wings, and while I'm unsure if they were ever specifically identified as adamantium, I'm sure they could get away with it in the movie, and by extension have him give Wolverine the metal as well.

Look, BvS, Civil War, Doctor Strange, Suicide Squad, and X-Men Apocalypse will be great in 2016. At least I hope so, since I didn't care for Man of Steel but am a HUGE Batman fan.

I'm more worried about Deadpool and Gambit.

Is Magneto going to help Charles build Cerebro. I still remember when he told Wolverine in "X-Men" that he and Erik built Cerebro together.

Not getting my hopes up to see an Avengers style battle in the movie as in the X-Men working together against a threat like how The Avengers fought The Kree.

@AC1

True, they could go that way too, still wouldn't be as cool as the Weapon X program though.... It would suck if they took that away from Logan's history, the Weapon X program plays a huge part of Logan's past and what he becomes, personality wise too....

I really wish we were getting a new Wolverine, love Jackman's dedication but it's [frick]ing past time by now.... We need a new actor to take the mantle soon....

damn.....just think for a moment, about how many wonderful movies we'll be getting in the next 2 years. It's hard to fathom, but hell I'm glad I'm alive to witness it.

there's no need to troll or be hateful, this is an era to celebrate and bond.

To each his own man, I though DOFP was awesome, I actually saw it twice in the Theatre, I didn't like the Mystique/Stryker twist though....

I'm wondering which costumes that they'll they go with? The X-Men could possibly have regular/colorful/apocalyptic clothing similar to the Age of Apocalypse story line or they could possibly have actual colorful costumes. I wonder if Fox has been seeing how successful CBMs with characters sporting specific costumes have been at the box office? You really want to do something new Donner, give us something that we've hardly ever seen before.

The single fact that they've been watching old TV episodes, reading the Age of Apocalypse comic book and also allowing people to read the comics (Alexandra Shipp) shows that they're willing to do things differently this go around. I'm sure they're going to tell their own story (similar to what Whedon has done with AOU) but I'm even more happier to see the original writers from X2 returning. There's over 3 writers all working together on this script for the film. Comprimising (instead of singularity) is key.

@Nubase: "will we see the famous scene where wolverine gets his adamantium ripped from his body by magento?"

We already saw that.

That was an homage to the comic you're referring to.
