There's been another development in the ongoing war between Ray Fisher and Warner Bros., as the actor has confirmed that the studio has made the decision to remove him from the cast of The Flash.

The actor goes on to say that Cyborg's role in the movie was much more than just a cameo before once again taking aim at DC Films President Walter Hamada.

His statement makes for interesting reading - he goes so far as to accuse Geoff Johns of "blatant racism" - but once again fails to share any specifics about what went on during the filming of Justice League's reshoots. Fisher does, however, offer to take a polygraph test.

He also mentions that this is "the end of my time as Cyborg," so chances are he's now done with the role. This isn't surprising, and it was hard to imagine a scenario where Fisher would continue to play the character after saying he is no longer willing to work on any project Hamada is involved with.

How Cyborg's absence from The Flash will be handled remains to be seen, and we don't know if Warner Bros. will recast the role.

Check out Fisher's full statement below:

He accused Johns of racism? If that isn't true and I was Geoff Johns I would be pretty pissed.

The whiner is finally out

Now when they want to use Cyborg, try either Michael B Jordan (he is just producing Static) or Jovan Adepo.

So, after all this time, the closest thing to an actual detailed accusation Ray has given is "blatant racism". Why no DETAILS still? If it was truly racism, why hasn't he filed something with eeoc or harassment charges?

I'm not saying this DIDN'T happen, but if racial slurs etc were being thrown around on the job he surely would've contacted someone about it before all this I'd think.

@Feralwookiee - as a black person myself, the racism play is so worn out at this point it’s just annoying. It’s such a go to claim that any headline I read anymore I have to ask myself, “I wonder at what point in the article racism is the reason this happened.”

@Feralwookiee - yeah. Not only that but he even claimed to not give Hamada any of the witness names or evidence because Hamada "would forewarn Johns." Like, are you kidding me with this? I really can't imagine how Hamada would behave where asking for evidence seems shady.

@Oberlin4Prez - FYI, I've seen you a few times on this site and never thought of you as a black person. The Emma Roberts avatar really fooled me.

@Oberlin4Prez - As a European-Honkey-American 😁 I can't really speak to that, but I don't think someone who is "outspoken" as Fisher, would not report such terrible behavior in the workplace. (Which he absolutely SHOULD have done if it's true).

I just don't see a guy like him, who's bitched so much for all this time keeping that to himself, then suddenly come out and saying "racism". And if he is making that up, it is screwed up to accuse someone of a potentially career ending event.

Again, I wasn't there and maybe John's really DID say or do something racist, but to make an accusation you better back it up with details and witnesses.
