FUNimation Entertainment delighted Attack On Titan fans around the world earlier this year when they announced that they had obtained the distribution rights for a live-action AoT film. Now, FUNimation is delighting fans once again with release dates and a fresh new trailer for the film!

Attack on Titan is going to be a two-part film, but, unlike most two-part films where the installments are usually released roughly a year apart, fans will only have to wait THREE WEEKS for the conclusion to the first film. The first part of the film will be released on SEPTEMBER 30, and Part Two will be released OCTOBER 20. You can check out the brand new US trailer below:

Attack on Titan focuses on a world when colossal humanoid beings known as "Titans" are a very dangerous threat (the Titans devour humans) to humanity, which has been forced to hide in their cities behind towering walls to keep the Titans out. The Titans have already lowered the world's human population to dangerously low numbers, and the only line of defence humanity has outside of its walls are the Survey Corps, elite soldiers who fight back against Titans outside the walls of their city.

Are you excited for the film? Will you be lining up to see this upon its release, or are you going to give it a miss? As always, let me know in the comments, and share the article and hit that thumbs up!

Sweet! Been watching the show to keep up on my Japanese. Unfortunately I came back to America a month before it was released in Japan. Can't wait!

I didn't like the cartoon. I just don't see what the big deal is. Oh well. To each their own.

Two parts? I thought the movie was only 90 minutes. Why are they milking this?

@Melkaticox: lol. I guess. I've seen a lot of anime and this doesn't even come close to shows like Rosario + Vampire, B Gata H Kei (Yamada's first time), Princess Mononoke, or Death Note.
