Justice League star Jason Momoa recently took to Instagram to share a photo of 7-year-old fan Danny Sheehan and some goodies the actor sent to the youngster as he battles cancer.
They first connected across Facetime in November after fans reached out to the DC Extended Universe's Aquaman to make him aware of Danny's condition. He has a rare form of brain cancer called Pineoblastoma which he has been battling for the past four years now.
Along with a replica of Arthur's Curry's trident from Aquaman, Momoa sent an action figure, some Funko Pops, and a note reading, "Can't wait to ride on some dolphins with you, Danny! Love, Uncle Aquaman." In his Instagram post, the actor credits Andy Smith at Sideshow Collectibles for sending those toys, and Warner Bros. for finding a trident Danny could have.
It's a touching story, and a lovely outcome after Momoa first brought attention to Danny last month.
With any luck, this will lift his spirits heading into the holiday season, and help this Aquaman fan as he continues battling this truly horrible disease. You can find help and information on cancer here.
