Talking at the San Diego Comic-Con yesterday, The Avengers: Age of Ultron writer and director Joss Whedon was once again quizzed on the involvement of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in the sequel, but most interesting were his comments about which female superheroes he want to bring to life on the big screen. Unfortunately, most of them are in the X-Men so Fox has the rights to all of them! I kind of have a thing for Tigra; I'm not gonna lie. I remember being an adolescent boy going, 'She's furry, but that should be gross and it's kind of not. That's hot!" As for The Wasp, he added: "I love The Wasp. I wrote a whole draft of The Avengers that was about The Wasp. Then they said, 'Can you write an Avengers movie?'" However, despite the fact that Captain Marvel (a.k.a. Ms. Marvel) is a popular choice with fans to get a chance to shine in a movie, Whedon isn't quite so sure it seems. "You know, I do like a character whose powers are a bit more defined. Pietro and Wanda, I know what they're able to do. With her, we have set rules for the film. With somebody that's just awesome and flies around, and punches things...that actually makes our job harder! The easier life is for them, the harder it is for you."
