Jeremy Renner:

"The Marvel guys are really smart. They're really cool," which Jeremy told MTV News on the Red Carpet. "My buddy Zak Penn is writing 'Avengers,' but that's not for years away. The only reason this even came up is because they're thinking about a little cameo of [Clint Barton] as Hawkeye in there. It's the only reason why I talked to those guys about it."

"We'll see if Marvel will have me," he said. "The role is there. We'll see if it works out."

Many thanks for the guys at MTV for the video and you can read the whole article on the link below.

LEEE777 - If he does get the role, I hope he reads a lot of "Hawkeye" and "West Coast Avengers" comic books to actually know who Clint is, saying that it's way cool we're actually getting Hawks in an Avengers film, if not two.

He also said he'd be up for a superhero team-up movie too!
