Mark Ruffalo Reveals His Sons Disbelief Over Hulk Role!

Mark Ruffalo, the actor slated to play Dr. Bruce Banner/The Hulk in the 2012 superhero crossover film, reveals his sons disbelief of him gaining the role!

Mark Ruffalo will be the fourth actor to take on the iconic role of Dr. Bruce Banner, who when angry, becomes the even more iconic Hulk. Bill Bixby, Eric Bana and Edward Norton had played the role previously.

Ruffalo has revealed that when he nabbed the role for the upcoming 2012 film 'The Avengers', his nine year old son Keen let out an incredulous “you?”.

Ruffalo told CBS’ the Early Show: “I had the same reaction my son had – ‘You, papa? The Hulk?’”.

Mark Ruffalo also revealed that he is happy that he does not have to hit the gym like most other actors tied down to superhero roles.

Ruffalo is beleived to have signed a multi-picture deal with Marvel Studios that would lock him into the role for about five to seven films based on the Marvel Universe.

As all of the Marvel actors/directors/producers have said, including Favreau, Whedon, and RDJ, we should give him a chance. He's just trying to make the best of a bad situation that he had no cause in. What's done is done. Excelsior!

Lou Ferrigno voices the Hulk in the movie, so do you think he ever gets annoyed when they keep saying Norton/Ruffalo is playing the Hulk, instead of just Bruce Banner?

Actually, Edward Norton did play the Hulk and Bruce Banner. He made the hulk resemble him, he did the expression, his movements, etc. All Lou did was voice (Hopes Lou returns to voice) the Hulk. Edward Norton played the Hulk. So yea... so people should say he played Bruce Banner/Hulk.

Lol that is hilarious. Mark is no where near a horrible actor so I'm fine with him. Banner doesn't need the gym especially when he knows, when angry, comes great huge green muscles.

i still can't believe that norton is not coming back. this [frick]s the entire continuity up. think about the average moviegoer.he goes and sees the avengers and he won't know which hulk is it? is it the hulk from ang lee's film or from letterier's? (although most people think TIH is ang lee's sequel) because hulk from TIH was based on norton's appearance, now for the avengers he will be different looking because he will have to be based on ruffalo's appearance.(or they could leave him be.that would be something) so this will be the fourth time we get a different hulk. [frick]! that was a big foul marvel...

My point is have faith this isn't Fox studios casting awful ass actors like Jessica Alba, Ioan McGruffurd whatever the [frick], and some X-Men people this is NOT Fox studios The Avengers has a bad ass cast but why do people hate on Marvel so much its my favorite comic book franchise
