Could we see an Inception crossover in TDK sequel?

Cillian McMurphy and Michael Caine appear in Nolan's upcoming movie "Inception." Could we see one of the other actors starring in the film crossover into the Batverse?

This is just an idea and by no means a rumor or anything that I've heard. It just seems to me that Nolan has a history of using actors repeatedly in his movies. So I'm looking at the cast of "Inception" and only two actors really stand out as possible characters in a Batman film. They are, of course, Leonardo DiCaprio

and Joseph Gordon-Levitt

The first question is can either one pull off the Riddler? I would go with Levitt due to looks and physique.

The second is: if not the Riddler, which other rogues could these two pull off? DiCaprio is a superior and versatile actor. Levitt I feel has much potential ahead of him. So with that said... DISCUSS!

i would have liked to see levitt as the joker in b3 since he looks so much lke heath and is a good actor. i dont think nolan shuld jst drop the joker jst cuz heath died. heath did an amazing job and i dont think the character shuld die with him. i just cant see a sequel to tdk with the riddler as the main villian is all.

Levitt and Nolan said the Joker WILL NOT APPEAR in the film

this is a good nod and mention but Nolan is well known to use the same actors more than once because he has good relations with them on set. Hell he seems to practically own Michael Caine's soul, because he's worked with him 4 times already. Is it just me or does Nolan look like an old school Bond Villain...like he could conquer the world...one awesome film at a time.lol. I can't wait for this film.

joob234 @ Could definitely see Tom Hardy as Deadshot not as Bane though
(Bane is hispanic)

What about Marion Cotillard - Catwoman

or Ellen Page - Harley Quinn (maybe?)

besides the fact that Nolan has said there will be no more joker, Levitt should never be the joker, I dont care how much he looks like Heathe Ledger. doing a joker that is the exact same as Ledgers would just be down right disrespectful in my opinion.

i think DiCaprio might be able to do an interesting Riddler though

Leo should play the next Batman villain.

...he's never done anything like that in any other film he has ever been in.

Hopefully, he sees a challenge in a movie like Nolan's Batman. Maybe he will step up and play a role he's not use to playing. I think he might be able to pull off the Riddler or Black Mask.

DeCaprio as Riddler. Now that's a damm good idea!
It really is! I think he would own that role like
it has always belonged to him!

Levitt should take over Joker for Heath. It's not
disrespectful for another actor to be hired to play
a role that another actor did and then died. They
have done that over and over again in the film
industry.

Levitt is so good that he could do a Joker similar
to Heath's but make the role his own. That
would not be disrespectful at all, in fact it
would be a wonderful homage to heath! Heath
himself, as the consummate professional he was,
would say, the show must go on!

Look at what Karl Urban did with Bones McCoy in
Star Trek. He didn't do a parody and he didn't
just do McCoy differently. He made a younger
version of Bones come completely to life!

I know beyond a doubt that Levitt could do that
with The Joker, with relish!

Hardy would be the penultimate DEADSHOT!
HELL YEAH!

Either of them would be great. Nolan just made Levitts career now.

Beware my power.

@ DDD, I never really gave any thought to Levitt as the Joker, but he does have a similar look. Also, like you were saying he could be similar to Heath's Joker but make it his own would also play into the character as well.

Think about the Joker in the comics, he has changed his persona on multiple occasions from being a menacing clown to a murderous psychopath, so having the Joker act differently actually pays respect to the character in my opinion.

Also you are right when you have said actors have been replaced after death... remember the crow? or the oracle from the matrix? By no means where theirs as big as Heath's, but still I'm just saying it can be done.

leo should be tommy Elliot and Joseph should be the riddler, why not use the hush story line except give hush a better back story. and the story should be more dark.

Just because the Joker is the greatest foe to Batman in the comics and other media, doesn't mean he has to be in Nolan's 'verse. The Joker should not be in the 3rd one.

...and NO Depp!

First: Thank God for no Joker.

I could see DiCaprio as Riddler, Black Mask, or maybe Deadshot.

Levvit could make an interesting Riddler I suppose.
