George Clooney Finally Shares His Thoughts On Ben Affleck Being Cast As BATMAN
Since Ben Affleck was cast as the Caped Crusader, we've heard from far too many people who have nothing to do with any of the Batman franchises. However, a few of the actors who previously played The Dark Knight have spoken out, and now Batman and Robin's George Clooney is the latest.
Like me, you're probably sick and tired of hearing B-List celebrities sharing their thoughts on Ben Affleck being cast as Batman, especially when they literally have no connection to any past or current iterations of the franchise. After all, who really cares what Donald Trump and Patton Oswalt think? Well, in the latest issue of Empire Magazine, they caught up with someone who knows all about playing the Caped Crusader on the big screen; Batman and Robin's George Clooney! "I am the least qualified person to comment on anyone playing the role of Batman since I so terribly destroyed the part," he laughed, before adding: "I tend to look at it like this - let's just see what the movie is before everyone starts beating him up. He is a smart man, he knows what he is doing." So, not exactly an endorsement, but he does think - like the sensible majority - that fans should give "Batfleck" a chance before completely writing him off!
