RUMOR: Ben Affleck Apparently Suffers Leg Injury; BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN Production Delayed?

There's no word on whether it will have an impact on the July 2015 release date, but a new report claims that Ben Affleck has sustained a serious enough leg injury to delay the start of production on Batman Vs. Superman until March. Hit the jump for further details!

According to Batman-News, sources tell them that Ben Affleck has suffered a leg injury, resulting in Batman vs. Superman production being pushed back by six weeks. Crew members were apparently told about this a few days ago, and were forewarned that they will be on hiatus for around a month as a result. Despite the fact that Affleck was spotted walking around LA with his family earlier this week, the site seems to have been shown material to support these claims, but warn caution in case it turns out to be somehow inaccurate. If filming is indeed delayed, a March start date now seems more likely. Sound off with your thoughts on this news in the usual place!

Well if true that sucks but if it only delays the movie a month that would be okay. Having the movie come out in August instead would make this movie the biggest box office movie in August ever. Plus it would make the summer movies go out with a bang. I hope Ben is alright and hope for a full recovery soon.

Oh good god please no. Not only do I /really/ not want this movie to be delayed, I want to see a shot of the Batsuit as soon as possible. If he is in fact injured, I wish him a speedy recovery and hope it's nothing too serious.

Im getting so sick of rumours. Unless WB puts out an official press release then this is bullshit in my mind. Isn't he presenting some award for SAG soon? I guess we'll find out then.

It's an indicator that he shouldn't be Batman and that the role should go to someone else.

Why does he need his leg? Film the parts from the waist up, have his stunt double in the bat suit doing all the crazy shit. Isn't this a sequel to Man of Steel anyway? DON'T DELAY FILMING!!!!!!!!!!

I really hope this is BS, for 2 reasons...

1. Because like everyone else, I'm dying to see him in the batsuit, and overall just want them to start shooting already.

2. Because I'm worried that this could harm his work out schedual, I really want this guy to get as big as he possibly can, and something like a "leg injury" might not prevent him from working out, and eating right, but could definitely prevent him from going to his full potential.

I just hope this BS isn't true. I can't stand rumors.

This is not true Ben Affleck just took a picture with his trainer a few hours ago. Also El mayimbe, TMZ, or Warner bros would've told us by now.

People of praying this is false? Well... at least if it gets a 2016 release it won't suffer a crippling humiliation at the hands of the Avengers.

Film the scenes without him and use a stunt double in a green suit. Then in post production create a CGI version of Ben Affleck and have him dub his missing lines. Problem solved.

WB faked this to lure people away lolol I hope they do like they did with Man of Steel and release a first "Offical" shot of the Bat costume (Superman against the safe door) so people can get a clear amazing shot of the suit. Maybe Batman in a badass pose like the Dark Knight Returns cover or something?
