Having only seen a couple set photos, of actor Chris Evans suited up in his brand new superhero suit for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, it is time for an investigation.

First, it needs to be said that since there is still a lot of filming left for the sequel things may change. Although, right now only one known instance of Evans being suited up in his new attire has been revealed online from a Los Angeles location (you can see that photo below). Nothing from set photos in Washington D.C. and in Cleveland (so far).

So the question needs to be asked. Is this really a Steve Rogers movie more than a Captain America movie?

From what has been seen on location and in set photos the signs are pointing one way more than the other. So the conclusion must be made that we will see Steve Rogers more in regular clothes, and out of his superhero duds than in them.

Two sources have told The Daily SuperHero this is more of a Steve Rogers movie. A third source also mentioned how in a past interview with Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, there was a sense in the room that Captain America: The Winter Soldier was going to be heavier on Steve Rogers than it would be with him suited up as the Cap'n.

Another telling sign that this is a Steve Rogers-heavy movie is from the recently released Marvel Studios book, "Marvel's Iron Man 3: The Art of the Movie." In this book, there is a quote from Iron Man 3 executive producer Steve Broussard where he said, "We [Marvel executives] made the decision that, post-Avengers, wherever possible, these [Phase 2] movies were going back into their own worlds."

In Captain America's case, it's Steve Rogers' world. Rogers is already known to be working with S.H.I.E.L.D. in the sequel but his ability to transition from 70 years ago to the modern day is a big part of the movie as well. And it seems like his transition will be addressed in the new Cap film.

Especially when you look at the title of the sequel. Based on this, comic book fans know how personal Captain America 2 will be for Rogers.

Nothing is certain right now and we may see more of Cap in his suit and less of Rogers in casual clothes in the coming weeks of filming. But it is definitely reason for discussion and debate until more is seen and/or known from the set of Cap 2 and until it hits theaters in April.
