Marvel Studios has released another TV spot for The Marvels, and it packs a fair amount of new footage from the upcoming MCU sequel into 30-seconds.

In addition to new shots of the three heroes in action, we get to see more of Carol Danvers facing-off with the Dar-Benn, and the villain reveals how she's able to go one-on-one with the "invincible" Captain Marvel.

The Kree are formidable warriors in their own right, of course, but even the most powerful among them wouldn't last very long standing toe-to-toe with Danvers. However, we hear Dar-Benn tell her enemy that her powers "only make me stronger," which indicates that her bangle and matter-altering hammer are going to cause big problems for CM.

The Marvels hits theaters on November 10th, with the review embargo lifting on the 8th. Some major spoilers have already begun to do the rounds online, so if you'd rather go in completely fresh, best be wary when navigating social media.

If you want a hint about what - or who - might be lined up for one of the movie's post-credits scenes, click here (don't worry, we don't reveal anything outright).

"In Marvel Studios’ The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as The Marvels.”

The film also stars Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon. Nia DaCosta directs, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Mary Livanos and Matthew Jenkins serve as executive producers. The screenplay is by Megan McDonnell, Nia DaCosta, Elissa Karasik and Zeb Wells.

The Marvels will begin its international rollout on November 8, and was recently granted a China release on November 10, day-and-date with North America.

@hue66 - im looking forward to it. i just have a problem with the choice for an obscure villain. Moonstone or hell Death-bird could have been a nice back door intro into xmen mythos before they premiere. im hoping the villain choice surprises me and its excellent decision.

Did they try to make the most meh-looking villain in the whole MCU or just got lucky?

Looking forward to this, mainly to see Kamala Kahn and her family on the big screen. Fingers crossed, marvel could use a win.

@McMurdo - Love the character in the show, hate the behavior of the actor, if true. I haven't been paying attention to those allegations. Have they been proven or disproving yet? I can't remember the specifics of the accusations, but pedophilia is just about the worst crime in existence.

@McMurdo - Nothing has gone past accusations. Obviously terrible if true, but kids have been known to make shit up for various irrational reasons.

They really should have highlighted the villain and outline how she is a huge threat to not just Carol Danvers but three superheroes. I thought she would turn out to be a variation of Deathbird.

@Forthas - It's possible that they plan to do this in the movie, rather than in the trailers.

That said, even the trailers clearly show that she's wearing a bangle that matches Kamala's, and if all three Marvels' powers are intertwined, it follows that if this villain feeds on Carol's powers, it will affect all of them.

@ClintThaHamster - Yeah, I agree that there's likely more to the character than we've seen so far because why would Marvel just throw it all in the trailers? So far it's been just enough to present the character as a credible threat to Carol, but you bring up an interesting point: if, as has been shown in this spot, Dar-Benn's powers are actually amplified by Carol using her powers against her via the bangle and/or the hammer, then what will happen when all 3 "Marvels" try to attack her at the same time? Theoretically, she will be more powerful than all 3 combined, which means that they will have to figure out another way to defeat her, which can only lead to... a sing-off (kinda like Star-Lord's dance off (also ironically with the last person to weld that hammer) but with all that singing that we've heard will be in this movie). And to that I say... bring it on (but ONLY if the Marvels ultimately win by performing "Intergalactic" (think about it: 3 Marvels, (previously)3 Beasties...)).

It is one way of dealing with a superhero that's way too overpowered. Hopefully the villain humbles her a bit as well.

I like the punk-ish look of Dar-Benn tbh. Also, that last shot of Monica was neat. Carol really seems like a character with flesh and bones in this one. Hope it's not too little too late.

It’s like Marvel has been turned into a goofy Mickey Mouse Club that makes no sense.
I hear there’s even a dance musical number in the Marvels.
