Though he's made frequent appearances in recent Marvel titles, including Jonathan Hickman's New Avengers and this year's Original Sin, Doctor Strange hasn't headlined his own comic since a 2006 miniseries. Well, that's set to change, with Bleeding Cool (they've been busy today) hearing word that the Sorcerer Supreme will get an ongoing series, expected to start in April or May 2015. The creative team has been confirmed, but remain a mystery to us and Bleeding Cool themselves. Though the Benedict Cumberbatch-starring film is likely still several years away, it's safe to assume that this will help boost publicity for the character, much like how Marvel reintroduced Guardians of the Galaxy with Marvel NOW! in January 2013 to generate interest in the team way ahead of the movie. Not sure when (or if) we'll hear confirmation of this rumour, but stay tuned to ComicBookMovie when the official news drops.
