@Pantherpool - speaking of the body, I've already watched IW kind of an absurd number of times, and yet I only just noticed a curious detail for the first time on a rewatch yesterday. When Bruce first crashes into the Sanctum's roof, I understood that Strange does his little hand twirl and his magic cloak immediately comes to surround him, but even his basic clothes beneath THAT totally change. I'd missed that all the times before.

When he's first walking down the stairs and he and Wong are talking about lunch, Strange is just wearing a tshirt and like a cardigan over it. But when he summons the cloak, he suddenly has on the full look that he carries the whole rest of the film (where it seems like he's wearing about 3 jackets and 7 belts).

All I ask for, Derrickson is less kung-fu. Tap into your horror roots while going completely bonkers. IW has given us the standard, now run with it!

I wish they would've cancelled all announcements on the sequels until Avengers 4. It would've made that little detail just a little more impactful imo

@Ineedrevelation - Agreed, they should’ve announced all upcoming Marvel movies at D23 2019. Maybe they will announce an official slate then tho, you never know

I didn’t really feel the 2016 movie, but the Doctor Strange from Ragnarok and Infinity War made me want so see more of the craziness and whatnot it can bring to the big screen

@MalseMarcel - Honestly, I feel that way about Spider-Man. I didn't like HOMECOMING at all, but in Infinity War, I thought he was fantastic in that.

Loved Dr Strange in IW... thought he was 10x better than his own movie... I hope he only grows and gets better as a character moving forward

@demery - agreed man. thought the spidey cameo in CW was great, and i really liked him in his solo... but god damn, Russos took him to new levels in IW... i hope he is that great in his own sequel cuz lets be honest, the bar is set real high now

@MotherGooseUPus - I have I feeling that after IW, he'll be...alright. Nothing about the sequel so far has made me die hard anticipated for it.

I'm more excited about SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE. It looks like it has better visuals, humor, tone, and a generally cool new take on the SPIDER-MAN mythos while keeping the basics of what made the franchise great from the start (which I feel HOMECOMING lacked almost entirely).

Spider man Far from home has me intrigued, especially if Jake is playing Mysterio... that would be awesome.

However, I have a feeling Derrickson might be talking about leaving social media until September. He is pretty fed up with all the losers online since the Gunn fiasco.
