James Gunn Shares Thoughts On An AVENGERS/GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Crossover
When asked about the possibility of Earth's Mightiest Heroes teaming up with the Guardians of the Galaxy to take on Thanos, director James Gunn says he believes that it WILL happen and then goes on to tease plans for a sequel to this movie. Check it out!
When asked by Digital Spy whether he believes Marvel are heading in the direction of an Avengers/Guardians of the Galaxy team-up as both sets of heroes prepare to take on Thanos, writer and director James Gunn - who has recently been rumoured to be in the running to helm a third instalment of The Avengers - had this to say. "I think that there's certainly a decent chance that in the near future some of the Guardians or some of the Avengers or the Guardians AND the Avengers or some sort of permutation of that, they'll meet at some point in time." The director then addresses the budget and humour before talk turned to what stage he and Marvel are at with a sequel. "I've been thinking about a sequel from the beginning. When I was setting up Guardians, I wanted it to be a movie that worked by itself, but also helped set up a whole galaxy of characters that we could play with in different ways. I have tons of ideas of things we can do, but we'll just have to see how things go..." What do you guys think?
