Iron Man: Armored Adventures Theme Song - By Rooney

Iron Man: Armored Adventures Theme Song - By Rooney

Here's the Iron Man: Armored Adventures theme song by the band "Rooney." I don't like this "teen" version of shell-head at all, and I don't understand why they think that they need to bring everything down to kiddie level. He's called "Iron Man" for a reason, not "Iron Boy," and even the young get that. Does everything have to be a pre-pubescent fantasy?

And are they making new armor every time teen Tony has a growth spurt? When I was 14, I grew out of my jeans every few months (OK, so I still do, but now its because I eat too many twinkies). The point is, that "Iron Boy" makes absolutely NO sense, and insults fans for this kind of stuff by categorizing us in the same target audience for Hanna Montana and Blue's Clues.

Marvel should know better. Make him miraculously age 15 years in the second season and we'll talk.

Terrible, just terrible...I agree, I don't see why everyone must be turned into a 14 year old boy...it doesn't even make sense. Stark designed his armor, something a weapons engineer could only do, not a kid. And where'd this kid get money for it? stupid...just stupid.

Stark is a kid in "Ultimate Iron Man"..but still, its silly. I would have liked to see more footage of the cartoon though and not some piss ant band jumping about the place

The youth thing is a bit played out when they try to make an old character "fresh". Just like with "Spectacular Spider-Man". However, I've seen the first two episodes a few months ago. They aired it on Teletoon here in Canada as a "sneak peek". It's not too bad at all, The Mandarin looks pretty cool and the story of the first few episodes was decent. Especially the way they've begun to link Stark's legacy to the ten rings of power. The cell shaded CG isn't anything special... then again nothing compares to what the Japanese are doing, so I don't include animation when judging American cartoons.

that is re-freakin-diculous!

When I was a teen, I didn't read comics about teenagers. I don't know why they're doing this. They could have made a GOOD toon based on the movie, but this?!?!

The big wigs need to buy a clue.....THEY ARE SUPERHEROES!!...kidz(lil' boys in particular)..will like them regardless. No need whatsoever to de-age. Now maybe they felt the Avengers and Iron Man animated movies were a bit much for certain ages, so they came with the Young Avengers(..why not come with the REAL Young Avengers with Patriot and Hulking?!),..and this Iron Man Adventures. I will give them that much, but other than that,..I dont see or understand a reason for it. As a kid,...I gave a less than two fricks about Superboy...bring on Superman!

this is a BAD..
the concept of "heroes before they were heroes"
works, i mean smallville's ok and a series about
bruce wayne training around the world before
becoming batman would be great but this is just stupid..

grayfox.. they could call it LT. AMERICA.. the story
before he gets promoted to CAPT..

This is one of those things that makes me glad I'm old enough not to care anything about popular music anymore. They serve stuff that's less bland than that to people coming out of major surgery.

But seriously. The "teen hero" thing works just fine when the character is naturally a teen, or at least started as one, such as Spider-Man, the Teen Titans, or even most of the X-Men (though Evolution became much better when they got away from the high school nonsense and started doing more "X-Men" type stories). When dealing with a hero who started off older it just doesn't work. This merits a giant "Meh!". I still plan to be fair and give it a chance, though. Maybe the stories will be good.

@WeaponX Spectacular Spider-Man has a right to cast him as a teen. He was 15 when he started being spidey in the comics and it was a BIG deal that a teen could be a hero in his own right instead of just a sidekick.

But Iron-Man is "man". I did like Ultimate Iron-Man but that story eased into his armor designs. Even after the second arc of Ultimate Iron-Man, he is still in the clunky prototype stages of the suit and only just began to fly. He's still got a ways to go. And this teen thing is well- I think it's the sort of thing "Mojo" would pull for his ratings. Wait! He did pull it! Remember the X-Babies!!(marvel reference for those who don't know.)

The worst is yet to come from Marvel though. They have commissioned a Super Hero Squad series based on the lame kiddie strips of the Avengers.

If they wanted teen shows, why not commission Runaways or something. Even the Young Avengers was interesting. I kind of wish that team didn't break up during Civil War. It was getting good. Or a family type hero cartoon like the Power Pack. Their sibling interactions have a very unique feel to the Super Hero-behind-parents-back genre.

Wolverine and the X-Men is quite possibly a masterpiece even in the first season (despite Wolverine appearing at weird points like when he was Mojo's Pawn). My favorite episode is still the Cyclops one where he reflects on his past, especially when he first wakes from a coma and during his first time putting on the specs.

Wolverine and the X Men is by far the best cartoon i have seen..i even enjoy it more that Batman: TAS. All of the characters are spot on..and even though they do take a few liberties with the stories (like Sinister creating Archangel and not Apocalypse) it still follows them close enough, and the voice acting is great. I wish Marvel put as much effort into their animated movies!
