The hilarious guys from The Screen Junkies Show on YouTube have finally made an Honest Trailer for an Iron Man movie. Spoiler alert, this thing is pretty funny. Hit the jump to have a look!

Iron Man 2 divided fans a little more than Iron Man 3 has, but I am a fan of the movie and thought it was a great sequel and a fantastic build up film. But like most of you I had problems with it too. Do you agree with the following Honest Trailer?

Before you see Iron Man 3, revisit the film that should lower your expectations... Iron Man 2! The forgettable placeholder while they worked on the script for The Avengers.



Iron Man 2 is a 2010 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Iron Man. It is the sequel to 2008's Iron Man, and is the third film released as part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Directed by Jon Favreau and written by Justin Theroux, the film stars Robert Downey, Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Scarlett Johansson, Sam Rockwell, Mickey Rourke and Samuel L. Jackson. Set six months after the events of Iron Man, Tony Stark has revealed his identity as Iron Man and is resisting calls by the United States government to hand over the technology. Ivan Vanko, meanwhile, has developed the same technology and built weapons of his own.

I don't get it. IM2 was so much better than the first movie IMO. One of my favorite cbm.

IM3 will def. own.

I saw It last week I live in The Netherlands, the movie was ok but the twist was wrong.
Personaly i think Manidering was missed used
He could have been as great and as cool as Loki!
But they choose to go with the twist.
My big question is how does Marvel decide witch villains are campy and wich are not?



Is Dr doom campy
Loki?
Kingpin?
Thanos?
Galactus?

If you think about it all villains are kind of campy the deal is some where they (Marvel) choses witch ones get the total comicbook treatment (Loki)

And some dont (Galactus, Mandarin).

My question is how do they decide? witch are to campy to really play off. How do they decide witch charachters are to unbelieveble to use and witch are plausibel? And why do they make that distinction?? they dont do it in the comics?? Why can we have a real Loki but no real Manderin?? Why can we be made to believe that a Loki can exists in the MCU but a Mandarin is to far fetched or to campy??

its still got roughly 150 reviews to still come in but people are acting like its all over.

I thought that it was pretty funny but I still don't believe that the movie was unwatchable. I enjoyed it for what it was, especially consider Scarjo's "bewbs".

LoL! Completely accurate! they left out that Tony's dad left an easter egg for him that would cure him of palladium poisoning even though his did COULD NOT have know Tony would ever have.....just an awful film.

I personally thought that IM2 wasn't a bad film. The first couple of times i watched it I thought it had plot errors, but i was incorrect. The thing with his dad's model may have been a deus ex machina, but it wasn't a plot hole. His dad didn't leave it because he know tony would need it to survive, he left it because it was a superior energy source to the one he previously created (the arc reactor). It just so happened that tony ended up having an mini reactor in his chest and could use the new energy source to save his life.

Funny stuff,but in all fairness the movie was average at best.Out of all the Phase One movie only Ironman and the Avengers stood out above the rest to be great movies.

I can enjoy ANY CBM despite Rotten Tomatoes or IMDB...why? because to each their taste. There are problems with every CBM..
I have seen a ton of positive responses for X-men First Class despite:
Alex Summers inexplicably now the older Summers.
No Jean or Scott or Bobby or Warren
Randomly inserted Latina stripper daughter of the Fly
Randomly inserted African American mutant specifically there to be killed
Furry Smurf
Mystique is now Xaviers' 'adopted' sister
No mention of Cain Marko- guess he isn't anything to Charles now...since the debacle of Last Stand
The Hellfire Club with only 2 actual members- too much trouble to have Harry Leland and Jason Wyngarde I guess.

Every CBM has issues- Iron Man 3 is no different...I don't care though because at least we are getting quality CBM's. Yeah we can pick them apart as fans of the original books and stories but I would rather just sit back and enjoy the visual spectacle...and hey you never know- they might get one right someday(Man of Steel? fingers crossed)

I honestly think when people say first class or tdkr were good they are just going by popular consensus


Sheep and most critics reviews reflect pay offs how can you explain most people saying tdkr was flawless in every way imaginable? And then no Oscar nod?

So basically don't set my hopes up high for IronMan 3 because Marvel decided to go the PC route for the Chinese oh well it can't be as disappointing as The Dark Knight Rises or could it ?

It's good to see people who appreciated Iron Man 3.

Personally I have enjoyed all 3 Iron Man movies. They all had a different feel, but they were all thoroughly entertaining, we had a great Tony Stark and we got very cool tech on display!

Iron Man 2 and 3 have more comedy than the first one, granted - but the jokes were actually funny! There was more action in Iron Man 2 & 3 than the first one. Personally, I wasn't satisfied by Iron Man's fight with Stane and how that ended.

The scene with Iron Man and War Machine fighting off the drones was far more gratifying to me, as well as seeing the briefcase suit against Whiplash.

Also, without spoiling Iron Man 3, the action set pieces were awesome - I love seeing the Mark 42 armour assembling piece by piece whilst Tony is actually moving. Not standing still whilst armour is forming on him. It's what I liked in the Avengers too.

Compare it to Power Rangers where morphing used to be them standing whilst the bad guys were just waiting for them vs when they were morphing whilst on the move or dodging bullets. Perhaps it was a bad example, but I love the cool ways the armour assembled. One over-comedic twist in IM3 doesn't spoil the otherwise action-filled and witty movie for me!

I do enjoy IM2(yes I agree that it is the "worst" Phase 1 movie), but this was pretty funny.

I never thought Iron Man 2 was all that horrible, but when they put it that way it really does sound like a sucky ass movie lol
