Fire Snyder and Hire Miller

So Zack Snyder is not exactly the best person to direct Justice League. He needs to go. So who should replace him? The man behind the Oscar-Winning masterpiece Mad Max: Fury Road. He knows how to direct a big-budget genre movie and actually make it great. But wait...doesn't Justice League start filming in a few weeks? Yes, that leads me to my second point.

Postpone Justice League and Move Up Batman Solo Film

Yes. I know. We have been waiting to see the Justice League for years now. But do you want the movie as soon as possible or do you want a great Justice League movie? The latter obviously. George Miller will need to polish the script a bit. One of the highlights of Batman v Superman was Batfleck. So give us a prequel movie before Justice League

Save Wonder Woman From Transformers

Gal Gadot did such a fantastic job as Wonder Woman. She was the best part of the film. Her solo movie comes out in June of 2017. The summer of 2017 is extremely packed with blockbusters. Wonder Woman comes out on the same day as the fifth Transformers movie. Those movies make a killing, especially overseas. We want Wonder Woman to be as successful as possible. So Warner Bros should move the release date from June to March of the same year.

Get Sam Raimi to Direct The Flash

Sam Raimi has given us two great comic book movies, with Spider-Man 2 being considered to be one of the greatest films in the entire genre. His type of directing would be perfect for The Flash

Get JJ Abrams to Direct Green Lantern Corps

JJ is the king of Sci-Fi. He has proven himself capable to direct movies of that genre with critically acclaimed films like Star Trek and Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Get him to direct a good Green Lantern movie.

Get Guillermo Del Toro to Direct Justice League Dark

He has been in talks to direct this movie for a while now. And since Hellboy 3 is never happening, he would have the time to direct this movie.

DC's Updated Film Schedule

Suicide Squad: August 5, 2016

Wonder Woman: March 24, 2017
Batman Solo Movie: November 17, 2017
The Flash: March 16, 2018
Justice League: July 27, 2018
Justice League Dark: October 5, 2018
Aquaman: March 1, 2019
Suicide Squad 2: August 2, 2019

Green Lantern Corps: March 6, 2020
Justice League 2: June 19, 2020

How would you change the DCEU?

As much I would love for Miller to direct these movies, I don't think he would be able to do it. He's got Mad Max to worry about

@Quasi - I thought he said he's not doing a mad max sequel anymore or was that a rumor

@Ryuk1995 - Somebody misinterpreted him.

@Ryuk1995 - Apparently he was misquoted. I think he said something along the lines that he isn't doing Mad Max at the moment and a reporter took it as George Miller isn't doing another Mad Max.

They're not going to do anything crazy like fire Snyder while BvS is still in theaters. That would tank BvS at the box office and be a publicity nightmare.

Literally all of these ideas are guaranteed to fail.
Did you see the rejected concepts and actual costumes from Miller's cancelled Justice league film? They're all terrible.

@GetsugaTensho22 - I just realized, some of the plot from Batman V Superman actually has elements from the original "Batman V Superman" movie they were gonna do back in 2002.

Watch this and part 2 of it as well. You may see what I mean.

@GetsugaTensho22 - Casting for JLA Mortal was NOT good but the script looked like a lot of fun AND drama. Imagine that? In a DC movie? Who would have thought?

Should move this to editorials. I saw this in the "news" section. Good article though, interesting read. :)

You have some good points there Marv.

They can't afford to fire snyder now and hire a new guy. They start shooting April 11th.
We are stuck with him.

I had no idea wonder woman was scheduled to be released on the same day as transformers. Moving it sounds smart.

So I think it's worth mentioning that even Kevin Smith hated this movie. I just listened to his Hollywood Babbleon, and he genuinely dislikes the film, and he doesn't beat around the bush at all. I thought he would offer up some pros other than Ben, but he surprisingly had nothing positive to say.

@FrozenJoy
Great article, but I feel it was missing this one:
"Introduce Green Lantern in JL: Part I"

P.S. While Miller is a great choice to direct Justice League, is there any other director besides him you would consider? Seeing as Miller would probably want to focus on Mad Max 5.

Great Article! definitely agree about pushing JL back and bringing up a batman solo.

I'm with you on Sam for Flash. I've been saying him for years. I personally don't want to see JJ Abrams doing Green Lantern, l would be okay with him doing a Batman movie though. As for who I want for Green Lantern Corps that honor I'd like to see go to Carl Erik Rinsch.

Why isn't anyone suggesting just getting Ayer to do Justice League? If Suicide Squad ends up great, and it has a lot of characters to set up and is a team movie, isn't Ayer the ideal choice for Justice League?

@FrozenJoy I think Snyder deserves one more shot with Justuce League. He even said both movies would have a lighter tone, especially given the involvement of the Flash. Plus, moving Wonder Woman forward would make it feel rushed. Besides, I don't wanna wait until I'm in college to see these movies. Besides BvS will make barely a billion, just ahead by $2 million, regardless of what happens. There's not even anymore time to delay Justice League's production.
