WB May Reveal Upcoming Film Slate In The Next Month; JUSTICE LEAGUE Set For 2015?

Christopher Nolan has already said that he won't have any sort of involvement in Justice League, but now Warner Bros. film group President Jeff Robinov weighs in on that decision. We also have some updates on the studios plans, with a promise of more news to come.

The Los Angeles Times reports that comic book fans still have a good few years to wait until they see more of DC's many characters on the big screen. As was revealed earlier this week, The Dark Knight Rises director Christopher Nolan will have no involvement with Justice League (or the planned Batman reboot). "It was a conversation we had," reveals Warner Bros. film group President Jeff Robinov. "Obviously anything you can get Chris involved in is great." The site adds that it, "will likely be at least three years before a new DC title hits the big screen, according to several knowledgeable people close to Warner Bros." However, it is thought that the superhero team-up MIGHT be released in 2015 in order to launch a whole new series of solo films.

Work seems to be moving incredibly slowly on all of the rumoured Warner Bros./DC Entertainment pictures (Aquaman, Flash, Wonder Woman, etc.), despite the fact that comic book writer Geoff Johns has consulted on several of them (including last year's big budget flop, Green Lantern). However, sources close to The Dark Knight Rises and Man of Steel have confirmed that he had no involvement in either of those. But wait! Before you lose all hope, the report ends on a rather positive note. "My hope is that over the next month or so, we’ll be ready to lay out the plan for the next DC movies," teased Robinov. Will this include an announcement at this year's San Diego Comic-Con?!
