Kevin Feige Is Excited To See JUSTICE LEAGUE And Doesn't Understand Why Fans Are Fighting Over Marvel Vs. DC
Justice League is just over a week away but we're not the only ones excited about that! Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige can't wait to check it out and he too is sick of the Marvel vs. DC rivalry.
The Marvel and DC Films Universe are very, very different and that's no bad thing. There are things that both companies do better than the other and absolutely no reason for comic book fans not to enjoy both. Despite that, many still argue over which is the superior brand, a fight which achieves nothing.
DC Films boss Geoff Johns has praised Marvel Studios in the past and now Kevin Feige has weighed in on both his excitement for Justice League and why he wishes some fans would just give it a rest.
"I think movies are awesome and people should go out and support awesome movies, and I go support those movies and I thought Wonder Woman was awesome. I can’t wait to see what Geoff Johns and Joss [Whedon] and the gang has done with Justice League. I guess people like rivalries, I guess? I don’t know. But I’m seeing Geoff Johns in a couple weeks for dinner. We went to this Dick Donner event together. Dick’s Superman is still the best archetype of superhero films. So yeah, just go see cool movies. What are you fighting about?"
That's very well said and it really does feel like it's time some immature comic book fans move on from battling over Marvel and DC movies. At the end of the day, they're two completely separate companies and neither really seems to care what the other does, so why do you? Well, feel free to let us know your thoughts on that and Feige's remarks about Justice League in the comments section down below.
