According to Deadline, the screenwriter known most for Underdog and Small Soldiers is planning a live-action adaptation of Just Born Incorporated's much-appreciated marshmallow Easter candy called Peeps. Now in different kinds of flavors and varieties, the candy has becomes a major addition to Easter baskets and is loved across the entire country. The LEGO Movie-esque family movie based on the treats will reportedly be "set the night before a Peeps diorama contest, when a wayward Peep gets misplaced and must adventure through the fantasy lands of different-themed dioramas before the contest’s judging begins." Again like the LEGO Movie, they plan on working with a major film studio on the project to incorporate different characters and pre-existing IP just like WB did with Lego minifigs, DC comics characters, and historical and pop culture figures. Stay tuned for more as we learn more information regarding the live-action Peeps movie. Do you think this is a good idea? Sound off below!

Hollywood shouldn't even have an excuse why certain movies we love can't be adapted. All in favor for a cereal brand cinematic universe??!

Oh, and BTW props to you TheAbaryMan369 for making this actual comic book movie news by crediting the Underdog writer guy.

I totally would have clicked on it to unleash my hate if it was just straight up news on the (I can't believe I'm saying this) Peeps movie, but you went and found a way to make it legit.

Good on you mate.
