Okay we don't have much to work with here, but before Bill Murray was to throw the first pitch at a Chicago Cubs' game, a local reporter asked him about his involvement in
Ghostbusters 3. The wonderfully dry comedian/actor surprisingly had a rather optimistic reply, ""well, it's a possibility."
I'm not gonna regurgitate the whole back story of this saga, but I will bring up the last bit of info that came out in February. Bill's fellow Ghostbuster, Dan Aykroyd, was making the rounds and the subject of Bill Murray being involved in
Ghostbusters 3 sounded as dead as dead can get.
""He doesn't want to be involved. He's got six kids, houses all over America. He golfs in these tournaments where they pay him to turn up and have a laugh. He's into this life and living it. I know we'd have a lot of fun [but] I can't be mad at him. He's a friend first, a colleague second."
"It's a surety that Bill Murray will not do the movie, however there is still interest from the studio."
