UPDATE: JURASSIC WORLD Pitch Trailer Leaks

This footage won't be featured in the actual movie, but it does give us a look at some awesome air-dino action from the pitch video that apparently got Steven Spielberg "interested in dinosaurs again". Check it out after the jump..

Only last night Universal announced that "Jurassic Park 4" is going to be called Jurassic World, and now we have our first look at footage from it...kinda! The movie's producer Frank Marshal has confirmed via his Twitter that the following vid is indeed legit, but this actual scen won't be featured in the movie..which is a shame as it's pretty damn great.

Here is what the uploader had to say about it:

"All I can say is this video was shown as part of Iain McCaig's presentation at the recent Star Wars convention in Germany (he's the fantastic concept artist and designer of Darth Maul). I can only presume it was part of a pitch for reigniting the JP movie franchise, if anyone can confirm please let me know. It was apparently shown to Kathleen Kennedy and Steven Spielberg. Mr McCaig actually said "it certainly got Steven interested in dinosaurs again..." I just think is so cool."

UPDATE: Sorry to report but this isn't a "pitch trailer" for the movie, just footage from a cancelled video game that shared the same name. Lucasfilm's Pablo Hidalgo confirms via Twitter.

Jurassic World hits theaters June 12, 2015.
