CONFIRMED: First Real Character Details For STAR WARS EPISODE VII

We've had one rumored character synopsis already, but now Bleeding Cool claim to have come across the "first real" breakdown of the type of characters set to appear in J.J. Abrams' upcoming Star Wars flick. No names are mentioned, but you can probably guess who they're supposed to be..

UPDATE: It appears this is indeed the real deal, as Deadline has confirmed that this is the casting breakdown that was sent out to agents by April Webster and Alyssa Weisberg in the U.S. and Nina Gold in the UK.

While we await official details on Disney's new Star Wars movies, we'll have to make do with the occasional rumor. Although the following character breakdown isn't exactly in-depth, and no source for the information is given, Bleeding Cool are usually pretty reliable with their scoops. Have a read and see what you think.

"A young man aged between 20 and 25, witty and smart, fit but not classically handsome,

Man in late twenties, also fit, but this one is handsome and confident.

Late teenage girl, independent, good sense of humour, also… physically fit .

Second young female, also late teens, tough, smart and physically fit.

Man in his forties, obviously physically fit, this one is a military type.

A man of around thirty or so, this one is an intellectual type.

Finally, a guy aged around seventy, strong opinions and tough."

Two major female roles suggest the rumor of a lady taking the lead might well be true..and that "guy aged around seventy" obviously sounds like one of the returning male characters (Luke Skywalker or Han Solo). But if this is some kind of casting call, wouldn't that role as least be filled already? There's nowhere near enough info for us to judge the validity of this one way or the other, but like I said, it's unlikely Bleeding Cool would have posted unless they figured there was something to it. We'll update if and when we get any more details, but for now share your thoughts in the usual place.
