Warwick Davis Returning For STAR WARS: EPISODE VII
The Life's Too Short actor, who played Wicket the Ewok in Return Of The Jedi, has posted an amusing video to his Twitter page, confirming that he will indeed be returning for J.J. Abrams' currently shooting Star Wars flick. Take a look..
Warwick Davis has been joking about returning to the Star Wars universe for "Episode VII" for quite a while now during interviews and at various fan conventions etc -- but as it turns out, he really is on board. Davis played Wicket in Return of the Jedi, and then again in that dreadful Ewok spin-off movie, and also appeared in The Phantom Menace in a variety of roles. We don't know who he'll be playing in Episode VII yet, but chances are he's either already shot his scenes or is going to very soon, because Producer Kathleen Kennedy has confirmed that production will wrap in about 3 weeks or so.
Could the Ewoks be back to terrorize those poor Stormtroopers? I's say it's unlikely, but I guess you never know....they weren't as universally despised as Jar Jar after all! Star Wars: Episode VII stars Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Chong, Crystal Clarke and Pip Anderson, and hits theaters on December 18, 2015.
