A new image of the upcoming Hot Toys Spider-Man figure from Marc Webb's The Amazing Spider-Man has emerged and it offers us our first full look at the upcoming release. Also below is an official teaser for the Iron Man Mark VII figure based on the Armored Avenger's recent appearance in Marvel's The Avengers.

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

STARRING:

Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors/The Lizard
Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben
Sally Fields as Aunt May
Denis Leary as George Stacy

RELEASE DATE: July 3rd, 2012.

It's off because it's an actual suit.

Anyways, looks very cool, but not worth the same amount as my rent. I think I'll stick with the Marvel Select. Can't wait for the movie though.

Really not digging how they keep making the eyes all orange looking on all the toys. Wish they were reflective like in the movie, or at least white or grayish maybe.

ForceOfLegend
ForceOfLegend - 6/16/2012, 6:19 PM
I know the suit looks A little different, but you can still tell it is Spider-man! It's not like what that stupid reboot of Superman would have been. The one that Kevin Smith wrote. Where he wouldn't wear tights, or a cape. Then he was going to fight a giant spider. I mean WTF guys. It could be way worse! Just have to remember near misses like those, and you can learn to accept minor changes. The main thing is we get a more accurate Peter Parker. Tobey never was Peter to me. Even though I did like those films.

Looking forward to the film. Spider-Man is my favorite Charachter of Alltime but nothing beats the classic suit!

SimyJo

Its fails but Spidey was always going to be a technical challenge just like The Incredible Hulk probably is.
This Amazing Spiderman fails because the suit is confined to top and bottom halfs with a visible disconnect at the wrists and at the neck with the mask. They should of gone with a rubberised suit if they can get the rubber not to go discoloured like the crotch-bit of the HotToys Iron Man MK III battle-damaged one.

i think it looks pretty cool, i just wish the suit had the belt coming across the front, oh well can't wait for this movie to come out

Not a bad looking suit at all it just really needs the belt section, there's just way too much blue there without it
