In November, Empire Magazine will reveal our first look at Kenneth Branagh's THOR. Thanks to Spidermedia, here is the first low res cover featuring the Norse God himself, played by Chris Hemsworth.

It's not much, but I'm sure we will be getting a lot more photos and other THOR related news in the upcoming weeks.

With Kenneth Branagh directing the upcoming big screen adaptation, film also stars Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Jaimie Alexander and Idris Elba.

THOR is set to hit theatres on May 6, 2011.

I'm kinda of peeved that they're marketing this thing without his helmet. I hope he wears it for more than just a few scenes, at least wear it in the final battle.

i'm thinking he's only going to be wearing the helmet a little bit in the beginning during ceremony or whatnot, and at the end. but lets face it, i think most of the movie he wont even be in any of his costume at all, since he'll be on earth. which im fine with actually

and its about damn time they start releasing wide spread news on this baby! they gotta get the word out so there's enough of a turnout come release of it!!

THOR: How come Captain America´s fans get to see tons of cool vids and pics from shooting and all we got was one little video and a bottleg pic of Destroyer that got taken down?

Awesome stuff WOLVIE buddy! Loving the way this looks! I guess I can stop worrying about Marvel's way of advertising the mighty god. I was worried that'd use Iron Man's style. Now I just hope the movie is good...lol

I have a feeling that when they release a 2 and a half minute trailer, i'm gonna serverly underwhelemed after seeing the comic con footage. That is unless they've added more CGI and/or new scenes

When the Green Lantern Empire came out, I could not find a store in Oklahoma that sold it, so i missed that, I really want this, what stores sell it, Wal-mart doesn't, or Wallgreens, Gas stations, I've looked everywhere!!!

Thor is gonna be sick. At first I thought that both Thor and Cap were TERRIBLY cast. Then I seen the pics of both and the trailer for Thor. It was at that moment that I realized why I dont work in Hollywood! LOL! The jury is still out on Evans however. At least until I see a trailer.
