A batch of promotional images for Sunday's episode of Game of Thrones has been released by HBO, and the stills give us some idea of what to expect from the aftermath of "The Long Night."

Like the brief teaser, the images show the casualties of the devastating Battle of Winterfell laid out on funeral pyres as Dany, Jon, Sam, Grey Worm, Sansa and Tormund prepare to set them alight. We also see a very smug looking Cersei with Euron Greyjoy by her side.

We know that Daenerys, Jon Aegon and their remaining forces will now turn their attention to King's Landing and claiming the Iron Throne (for whom, though?), but what else will transpire in the near 80 minute-long episode remains a mystery.

What do you guys hope to see in the still untitled fourth ep of Game of Thrones season 8? Check out the stills, and drop us a comment below.

Dragon Fleet

Daenerys doesn't have any ships of her own (as far as we know), so we assume this is Yara Greyjoy's fleet flying the Targaryen sigil.

Will the rightful ruler of the Iron Islands face-off with her demented Uncle Euron and the Golden Company on the water?

Dany And Drogon

Fans weren't too sure if both of Dany's dragons survived The Battle of Winterfell after Drogon was swarmed by wights, but we glimpsed two fire-breathing beasts taking flight in the promo for Sunday's episode.

Last Man Left, Burn The Rest

Dolorous Edd's words proved to be prophetic, as the final Lord Commander of the Nights Watch is laid to rest along with the other characters we lost to "The Long Night."

Aegon

Now that Jon and Dany know the truth about the former Bastard of Winterfell's parentage, it's going to be very interesting to see if their alliance holds.

The Starks

Although many viewers expected to lose on of the remaining Starks during the battle, Sansa, Bran and Arya managed to survive. Indeed, the latter ended up slaying The Night King and saving all of Westeros.

Missandei, Dany And Varys

Missandei and Varys have become two of The Dragon Queen's most trusted advisers, but there's a very good chance she'll lose one of 'em before the end if Melisandre's warning to The Spider back in season 6 is to be believed.

A Greatly Depleted Force

Dany lost most of her army during the battle, with the Dothraki all but wiped off the board. Grey Worm and his some of his Unsullied remain, but will they be enough to take on the mercenaries in The Golden Company?

So is ghost dead? I paused the promo for episode 4 and I thought I saw 4 white legs behind bran. The photo here seems to have been edited where they are burning the bodies and removed the evidence that ghost was there. I figured they wouldn't kill him off screen so he must have survived. I just don't understand why they had him on the front lines. Do you guys think ghost is alive or dead?

@Andykorn - Yeah he's alive. I don't know why he charged in with the first wave but I guess a giant wolf does whatever he likes.

I think the ships are actually Daario sailing over to help.

They're entirely adorned for the Dragon Queen, looks like they came from home. Daario has been doing well, keeping things in Dany's name.

Yara would provide ships, but not in Dany's honor such as this.

@SKetCH - Daenerys does have a fleet, remember that she captured the ships laying siege to Mereen in Season 6. The ship with the dragon ornament is her flagship, the same one she's on in the Season 6 ending.

@SKetCH - Agreed. Also probably full of Dornish he picked up along the way.

@Shasvre -

A lot, if not all, of her ships are adorned this way.

And you're absolutely correct, she did obtain a fleet to sail to Westeros with, but my concern is how many does she have left?

When the Greyjoys were ambushed by Euron, Varys tells Dany that 2 or 3 ships escaped.

Then when Dany sent the Unsullied to take Casterly Rock, they showed up with a shit ton of ships, and then were decimated by Euron... again.

Tyrion tells Dany they have just enough ships to carry the Dothraki.

These details don't support my comment, lol, but I still think it's Daario.. but it's most definitely not Yara.

I'll come back n eat my words if I'm wrong tho. 😁

I was personally VEEEERY disappointed with the last episode plot wise. I've beaten that horse to death in other articles so I wont be the downer for everyone else on this article too. I've said my peice and aired my grievances. Time for me to move on.

We dont always get what we want, and I think it's just as important to be able to openly talk about the things you think could have been better as it is to then accept what happened is done, let go and then move forward without dragging ones feet like a child.

SO, in the spirit of promoting positivity in fandoms, I'm looking forward to what comes next in the final 3 episodes. I hope the things I hated about last episode are overshadowed by a thrilling and gratifying final 3 episodes.

For 10 nights straight, just send the 2 dragons in to burn the hell out of Cersei's army, ships, palace, resources, etc.
Then, on the 11th night.....ATTACK!!!

I wonder how the books will develop considering the number of characters and storylines that went unused in the film series. Dany and Jon aren't the only one with some dragon in their blood.

I really hope they improve the writing. Take some bloody risks without setting it all up beforehand and stop trying to be so cinematic!
