Seemingly a fan-favorite, the presence of Doomsday in NetherRealm Studios' upcoming fighting video game outing based on DC Comics' fictional universe, Injustice: Gods Among Us, was first announced via @Gamer magazine's article. Now, the developers have officially confirmed the supervillain as a playable character in the video game, through this gameplay video (courtesy of GameStop) which provides us with our first look at the murderer of Superman itself, pitted in an intense battle against Shazam. Injustice: Gods Among Us is an upcoming fighting game based upon the fictional universe of DC Comics. Set following the destruction of Metropolis and the deaths of his wife Lois Lane, their unborn child, and his best friend Jimmy Olsen, all at the hands of the Joker, the video game sees Superman's establishing of a new world order, causing heroes to stand in opposition to each other. A battle ensues between the forces of Superman's regime and those allied with Batman's rebellion. Developed by NetherRealm Studios, the game is scheduled to be released on Playstation 3, Wii U, and Xbox 360 on April 16, 2013.
