David Bentley over at The Coventry Telegraph managed to catch up with Lynda Carter and asked the actress if she'd consider a small role in the rumoured big screen outing for the character which is reportedly set to hit cinemas in 2013. Carter also reveals whether or not she thinks there is anyone in particular that would be a good fit for the role of the Amazon princess!

"A cameo is kind of a broad word," she said when asked if she'd accept a cameo in the movie which will be produced by DC Entertainment and Warner Bros. "As they say: "There are no small parts, there are only small actors". If it's something that is gratuitous I won't do it; if it's just for me to show up in it I wouldn't do it, but if there is something written that they think would be appropriate then most definitely I'd consider it. I would love it."

Carter was then quizzed over which actress she thinks is right for the role and her answer echoes that of many comic book fans who believe that an unknown would be for the best: "I've seen the faces of so many people (actresses), but the interesting thing about Wonder Woman is that you really knew her by both characters, because the audience knew she was Wonder Woman when I was playing Diana Prince, so for them it wasn't two different people," she said.

"And I never dumbed her down. I just thought she needed to be smart and capable, but nobody really knew how smart and capable. It's got to be somebody that you want to be best friends with; she's got to have that likeability about her, so it would be nice to have somebody who's unknown."
