Yeah, this is eons above The Avengers and most Marvel films.

And lol at the people calling it overrated. Did the movie not have enough slapstick comedy and distracting references for you?

I thought this movie was WAY better than the avengers. I've never been a huge X-men movie fan (apart from first class and The wolverine) but this movie changed that. Now I can't wait for Apocalypse. The storytelling, action and acting blew me away.

X2 and First Class were in my Top 5 CBMS of all time... This surpassed both. It's right under TDK trilogy. Excellent in each way. Story, Cast, Effects, dialogue, balance of comedy and action and serious moments. Flawless film. However the best film of the summer has to go to Dawn of the Planet of the Apes with the slight advantage.

Not to mention Magneto has some of the best quotes in this film.

Lupita Nyong'o should replace Halle Berry as Storm though.

LOL

The concept is great, but the execution is so terribly awkward.

This movie's been out for how long? And this is the video quality? great film and I wish the deleted scenes were more stylized so Hugh Jackman wouldn't look like such a creep kissing Storm in that scene.

@KidGoku Intresting thought but if they're doing the whole "younger versions of the original ast members" then I don't think Lupita could do it.

Really don't see how people think Cap 2 and GOTG were better than this. Cap 2 is a decent spy thriller but there are tons better in that genre. And Guardians is a fun ride, nothing more nothing less. X-Men truly has it all, there's a lot of depth, emotion, and heart, to go along with the comedy and action.

My two cents are that people here simply inflate the quality of Marvel films because of how much they love the shared universe.
