No Trailer For THE WOLVERINE With THE HOBBIT; But Mangold Promises A "Glimpse" Early 2013

While taking to Twitter to clear up the trailer confusion, the director of The Wolverine also reveals that there is only one day of production left on the movie. Check out a couple of James Mangold's Tweets after the jump..

It seems those reports of the first trailer for The Wolverine debuting with Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey were premature, as the director of the movie has confirmed in the following Tweets..

So don't expect to see any footage from the movie until next year. Still, at least it's early next year (a Super Bowl spot perhaps?) and hopefully we'll get a few more stills or a new poster before then. It's also nice to know there is only one day left on production and things seem to have gone off without a hitch.

Well if they're gonna miss out on the hobbit Super Bowl spot is the next best thing. They need to market this movie well because out of all the cbms coming out next year this is the one people are really not talking about

@Spideyguy94

it is being discussed but not that much maybe because the last one was pretty bad.they need to do it right this time just like first class.

Best believe we'll see the big studios take advantage of both the Super Bowl and the NBA Playoffs/Finals in regards to advertising.

I'm sure there will be a trailer during the Superbowl. Maybe the Man of Steel will still be running a trailer in The Hobbit.

@Extremis that is true but not that many people even know this movie is coming out outside of movie buffs and comic book geeks. People know Iron man 3 and man of steel are coming out because they had trailers attached to 2 huge films this year. Thor TDW isn't even coming out till this time next year so the promotion kick won't even have to start till next summer. But this needs to get a really awesome trailer out to let the general public know its coming out, because like you said the last one sucked so its going to be harder to sell to the general public than the other 3.

The trailers for Man of Steel and Star Trek Into Darkness are in front of it. Plus it is was filmed in 3D and is being released in 48fps and Dolby Atmos. This is definitely still going to be epic.

Isn't this movie out next summer? Shouldn't they at least think about releasing a teaser by the end of the year? This movie could end up losing out if it's not marketed properly.

I didn't care about that trailer anyways. All the other previews such as Man of Steel, Pacific Rim, and Star Trek 2 are the only ones I cared about or if they decide to put Iron Man 3 on too.

Yoss, I know you like to think you're quite the witty smart-ass..but you're not. In fact you don't have the slightest idea what you're talking about half the time. I assume you're referring to the Green lantern article I posted debunking that horseshit rumor? If so, please explain what this site covering the - at the time believed to be - solid info, covered by every sit eon the net that the Wolverine trailer would debut with The Hobbit, has to do with us debunking something blatantly pulled out of thin air by a site notorious for making shit up?
