Lately, Marvel's movie posters haven't been particularly impressive, with many fans lamenting the studio's overuse of photoshop in their promotional one-sheets. Ant-Man appears to have bucked the trend here though, debuting three great new posters. Released by Marvel's official Twitter accounts for Thor, Captain America and Iron Man respectively, these images are an example of some great cross-marketing. You can check them out below!

Ant-Man hits cinemas July 17, 2015. What do you think of these beauties? Are they inspired, or should Ant-Man be attempting to forge its own identity? Be sure to leave your thoughts in the comments below!

In "Ant-Man," Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) approaches master thief Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) with a suit that grants him the ability to shrink in size but increases his strength! Scott must embrace his inner hero and put the suit to good use and save the world under Pym's leadership.

@WakandasSoul To be fair, AntMan is about as obscure as the Guardians to the casual audiences.

@KurtWagner1225 Same here, hell even Disney didn't expect Guardians to do so well.

Making it clear that he'll be connected with the Avengers makes even more sense when the next film after this is Civil War. It's really smart marketing, and it's actually creative for once. Awesome.

@SauronsBANE The mid-credits scene as the lead-up to CIVIL WAR should be funnnnnnnnnn.

@WakandasSoul @Reasonnnn *Squeal!* Yeah I really hope it's something special. I'd imagine it'll include a cameo of some sort, though I wonder how the timeline will match up. How long after Age of Ultron is this (or does it happen simultaneously?), and how long before Civil War does this take place? We'll find out, I guess!

I don't know whether this is pure genius or absolute desperation ?

This is really good marketing, i'll give it that. But won't some of the really stupid people start thinking "Iron Man and Thor and Captain America are in this movie? YAY" Believe me, some people are that dumb. But hey i'll still take it, its better then some of their posters. Although i still think the first one is the best.

@WakandasSoul Haha yeah, can't be subtle when it comes to this Ant-Man marketing!

@SauronsBANE I have no idea what they would tease, but I don't think recruiting Lang in a mid-credits scene would be as powerful? Or maybe it will...

that's brilliant! why not brag about the connection to Avengers in a clever way? and not the over-Photoshop mess of other posters. well done!
