Paul Rudd's 'Scott Lang' Is No Longer A "Con Man" In Marvel's ANT-MAN

Marvel have released an updated synopsis for Edgar Wright's Peyton Reed's Ant-Man, and it reveals some of the changes made from the original script since Adam McKay and Paul Rudd rewrote it...including the fact that Scott Lang is no longer a con man! Find out his new profession here.

Depending on how you look at this, this is either a major or minor change to the movie! It could just be that Marvel decided to change the wording in the synopsis because "master thief" sells a little easier than "con man". However, it seems more likely that this is a change made in the new script which was written by Adam McKay and Paul Rudd. A master thief can of course still be a con man, so I wouldn't get all that worried that too many alterations have been made to the Scott Lang character! That "TBD" screenplay credit is very telling however as there will likely be a lot of complications with the Screen Actors Guild over who should get credit for Ant-Man. Regardless, being a master thief could be considered an upgrade! Share your thoughts on these changes below!
