Considering the Master archer was under Loki's unwitting control for the majority of The Avengers assembly, Clint Barton AKA Hawkeye actor Jeremy Renner had expressed disappointment he seemingly got the short end of the stick. With the sequel slated for 2015, it's no surprise Renner recently told MTV News he's sure Joss Whedon will provide more opportunities for the character.
“It's what he was able to do with the first one,” Renner told MTV News.
“Now, there's more opportunities to explore the characters a little more, I think, for everybody. I think that's exciting.” But Renner won't be lining up to give Whedon any pointers or suggestions for where to take Clint Barton next.
“I'd screw things all up,” he said, adding that his process goes a little something like this:
“We meet in the middle and we play kick the can.”
