At the very end of the following video, The Today Show asked Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson about his mystery lead role in a future DC Comics adaptation. While previous interviews had the wrestler-turned-actor all but confirm that he's playing Shazam, the Hercules star now comments briefly on the development stage of the movie itself. “Yes, it is going to happen,” he told NBC's Today host. “I’ve been dying to announce it by the way…We still have to find the right writer. We’re having two, three takes right now. But I’m very excited about it. It’s going to be great. I’ve been waiting a long time for this and so have the fans, by the way.” Watch the video below!
