Tonight's been a big night, we got confirmation of a
Justice League film, as well as a director and even a
possible release date. What's next? Well, it wouldn't seem like much of a
Justice League if Warner Bros. didn't include the King of the Seven Seas. While many people assume that's the role Jason Momoa is slated for there appears to be a newcomer, Matt Damon ("Behind The Candelabra").
"One casting rumor that has been circulating around Hollywood for more than a year is that Affleck's close friend and collaborator Matt Damon is being sought to play Aquaman, though to be fair, Jason Momoa has also been rumored for that role (among others), and he is expected to appear in “Batman vs. Superman” in some unknown capacity." - Jeff Sneider
Could it be possible that Hollywood's favorite power couple, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon, will team-up once again for
Justice League? Maybe. The pair are best known for starring in and writing
Good Will Hunting, which won them Oscars for best original screenplay.
