Thanks to the boys at HeyUguys for the heads up. Pretty cool eh? I have to say I had my reservations when I first saw the full costume the other day but seeing this still of Evans in motion makes me think it looks a lot better indeed.

Captain America: The First Avenger stars Chris Evans, Hugo Weaving, Tommy Lee Jones, Stanley Tucci, Haley Atwell, Sebastian Stan, Dominic Cooper, Toby Jones and Neal McDonough and hits theatres July 22nd, 2011.

@indoraptor -- You're looking at a millisecond of probably a two hour movie. I'm sure there will be plenty of milliseconds where he IS holding the shield. He's just not holding it in this one. lol

I'm glad that Johnston and the design team went with a more fatigue style Cap suit then a skin tight spandex style. It looks almost realistic enough to be something an American military PR guy would come up with to create a hero for the US to get behind in WWII. And it's also a great starting point for a modern redesign by Tony Stark/Shield for the Avengers movie. I also think Chris Evans is going to surprise people with his portrayal of Steve Rogers. (fingers crossed)

Cool.I can't wait to see this movie.I think the suit looks pretty bada$$,I think the colors look pretty damn perfect.Its better than the Spider-Man outfit,but its okay too.But,Captain America is more bada$$!!!

Whats with all this talk that TOny Stark is gonna reinvent caps suit? WHy would he do that? In the Comics he doesn't, or in the Avengers show we now have Cap wears his suit from WW2. I think this is the suit were gonna see in the avengers and it looks awesome
