UPDATED: Two of The Howling Commandos Revealed in Captain America Photo?!!

I was going through EW pics of Captain America and guess what I found? Percival "Pinky" Pinkerton!

A HOWLING COMMANDO!!! Let me first say that this is a suspicion of mine. Percival "Pinky" Pinkerton was an English member of the original Howling Commandos. He was a British soldier who used an umbrella and a machine gun as weapons. He took over Junior Juniper's spot on the team after he was killed in issue #4. After fighting in the war Pinkerton became an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D and later died after a battle with cancer. As you can see the man I have circled bears an uncanny resemblence to the character. He the hat and mustache very similar.The Howling Commandos have already been confirmed to appear in the film and who knows maybe this is our first glimpse of them.



















Tell me what you think. Is it Percival or some nameless extra????

Hey there I am a regular reader of your site and I was infact a extra for the caerwent filming of captain America, and the person in that photo is union jack and is a member of the invaders. if you use this can you keep me anonymous as they were quite strict on set about us keeping everything we saw secret.

Looking through some tumblr blogs yesterday I found this post from a prop master who has said that she knows someone who is in captain america and seems to be a member of the howling commandos.

I wasn’t allowed to talk about this for a while, but now that it’s on his IMDB, I’m allowed: MY SISTER’S BOYFRIEND IS IN CAPTAIN AMERICA!!! That’s why he’s been in London since August. I mean, I’m used to seeing Kenny in a shit load of shows/movies (IMDB link says he play's Jim Morita a Japanese-American member of the HC), but this one is something that I’ve been anticipating for so long, even before Kenny was casted... It’s so weird to think that someone in my family is going to be in this movie. I can’t wait!!

Funny, I'm pretty sure this was already common knowledge. I don't think so, myself. That scene occurs shortly after he's bac from rescuing Bucky, at a time I don't imagine he had his own Commandos to command.

i already commented on this back in in the high res article, its definiely JJ Feild, and IMDB has him down as Montgomery Falsworth, the original Union Jack.
but you are right he does look like Percy, so maybe they are combining the characters and making Falsworth
a Howling Commando.

That's Union Jack!? Oh man, he'd better have some sort of costume or at least something that makes him stand out from the other soldiers and members of the Howling Commandos...should have known it would only be a bit part when they hired such an unknown actor. :(
