MTV News have unearthed a very cool piece of fan-art depicting Natalie Dormer as Captain Marvel in the upcoming movie from Marvel Studios. This was created by talented tumblr user Alice X. Zhang and gives us a great idea of what the Game of Thrones actress (who has already made a very brief appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during one of Captain America: The First Avenger's WWII set scenes) would look like in the role. In complete agreement with ckal (and batz, etc): "Kathryn Winnick ... All others are far behind."

The art is excellent though. The lighting, all that moodiness in a single expression, and I completely see Dormer.

But does it matter that Winnick is beyond perfect? Casting more and more seems all about have you had other box office bank. Sad.

not bad fan art,i'm pretty sure whomever marvel studios picks the usual suspects will hate it just because its marvel studios(you know who you are).marvel studios have been pretty good with their casting choices,so i think this will be no different.
